So just to recap today’s day Billy signed 3 top 150 players that were new to UFs commit list in Wilson, James & Moore and I think he did it in just 11 days. That’s pretty impressive with one of them being an IMG prospect.

Coaching hires are tricky, but I have been told to expect 1-2 more potentially this week

Trevor Etienne the brother of Travis Etienne announced he is down to 3 (UF/Clemson/LSU) and will be announcing at the All-American Bowl on January 8th. This one is too close to call at the moment IMO.

By the way something I wanted to add - no one is saying UF caught ANY of our rivals on the trail yesterday, clearly not - we inked nine players. We have half of a staff by the way. What it showed me was simple. We have a coach that CAN and WILL take kids Alabama AND Georgia want. I have not been able to say that in years past. Now I can and did and will keep saying it....and he did it without half the coaching staff....Yes, imo we are headed in the right direction for the first time in a long time.....

Any updates on players emerging during bowl prep with all the talk about coaches leaving and players hitting the portal? Seems like the current team has become secondary in our discussions.

If I were you guys I wouldn't be surprised by this. Hiring/firing a new coach basically means you are forfeiting one ESD class. Best chance is to hit the portal.
