When you consider all the guys we have out after two games (I know not every injury is S&C related), and you saw our performance two weeks ago, I’ve begun to wonder. Also, I saw how BC dominated FSU up front, and that’s where our new head S&C guy bolted to in January, I’m not sure we’re any better there. Hope I’m wrong but think it’s a fair question at this point.

Is there something happening that I am not aware of: why is ESPN using covers of Tom Petty songs so much this season?

Today I have heard "I Won't Back Down", "Learning to Fly", and "Running Down a Dream."

Am I missing something? I mean, I'm all for honoring Petty, but these are covers. Just weird.

Just got off the phone with somebody in Gainesville. Subject was wins needed for Coach Napier to remain the coach. If Napier loses to any of these listed schools he is gone, they are Miss. St., UCF, Kentucky, LSU, Florida St.. Now the big news in all of this conversation is , my person said the next Coach is almost a sure thing and that is Coach Meyer will be coming back. That sure would be interesting, at first I didn`t like the idea but the more I talked to my friend, hell it makes it a great hire ,one he wants the job, two he can recruit and he is a good offensive minded coach.What you think about the hire if it happens.---- Napier will lose to a couple on that list and it will happen.

We need to wake up and rally behind this team today. Get rid of the negative energy. The Miami game was a fluke from the start, there was a weird vibe in the stadium. This team can win today and needs our support. We are capable of being a tough team. Miami game is behind us time to win TODAY!! When you get a cut the blood is Orange and Blue. We the fans are a big part of the energy that the players feel. I can't wait for today's game and I think we are going to come out swinging!!

I don’t often have much to bring to the board living in Cleveland, TN but thought this was interesting. Had a conversation this morning with someone who played football at the local high school in my town who since finishing college (at ETSU as a QB) has been on Scott Frost’s staff at Nebraska, Jedd Fisch’s staff at Arizona, and now followed him to Washington. He said 3 things that stood out to me.

1. Jedd Fisch would take the Florida job in a heartbeat. Said he wanted it last fall but we didn’t can Napier. (This isn’t a fire Napier post)

2. Said the word on the college staff rumor mill is we would go Kiffin or James Franklin and that Fisch is out to prove this season he is worthy if the job were to come open. Franklin doesn’t move the needle AT ALL for me.

3. “You aren’t that bad for that long at a place like Florida just because of bad luck. Something is wrong with the operation and higher ups clearly” thought that was pretty telling.

Again, nothing incredible just thought I would share the small bit of information that I did have.
