Football Lane Kiffin on why Arch Manning is not at Ole Miss

Watch this video and you will understand that Kiffin is an idiot. He states the # 1 driver on where a kid goes to play football is NIL dollars (certainly true at times). And then he states some players want to go somewhere else to establish their own identity (also at times correct) but then he gives an example as Peyton Manning choosing to go to UT instead of Ole Miss.
I know for a fact that is bullshit. Peyton Manning was set to go to Ole Miss and throw to his older brother Cooper (Arch's father) who was a wide receiver at Ole Miss. Cooper developed tingling in his hands and fingers after practice and was diagnosed by the Mayo Clinic to have cervical stenosis, a narrowing of the spinal cord in the neck and was informed he could no longer play football. So the Mannings then chose Tennessee for Peyton because Cutliff was the QB coach. So Peyton didn't go to UT to do "his own thing" he went there because Cooper was no longer playing at Ole Miss and the Mannings thought he would be better coached at UT.
When it came to Eli, Ole Miss hired Cutliff as HC so Eli went to Ole Miss. I would have to say the Mannings made great decisions with both Eli and Peyton.
If anybody thinks Arch went to Texas because of the money.....well you just don't know Ole Miss football or the Mannings, (and yes I knew Archie and Olivia pretty well at Ole Miss). Whatever Arch is making at Texas is insignificant to the Manning family. Arch went to Texas because of the coaching: Sark and QB coach A J Milwee. Period.
Bottom line is the Mannings did not think Kiffin was the guy to coach Arch at Ole Miss, so what on earth makes anyone think he is the right guy to coach UF?
Before everyone starts bitching at me, watch this video. Kiffin sounds like an insecure salesman whose pitch for Arch fell short and he can't admit it was because the Mannings did not want Arch to play for him. The Mannings are loyal as hell to Ole Miss and Kiffin couldn't close the deal. Imagine if SOS or Tebow had a son or grandson that was a stud HS QB and the UF coach could not land him. How would you feel about that coach?

Trouble in Paradise for Peach State Standout & The Gators?

I did not speak with him, but Rivals.com National Recruiting Analyst Sam Spiegelman did catch up with Joseph Mbatchou. It will be very hard to hang on to this one.

"I need to figure out when it's all said and done where I wanna go," Mbatchou told Rivals.

Texas, Alabama, Georgia, and Auburn are the four teams working hard, but he ultimately ends up with one of the first three schools I believe

Football UCF @ Florida...

The game is sold out and the Miss State win should have made it where UCF fans werent able to buy a real large amount of tickets hopefully. We need this win to assure the fans are still showing up after the game @ Tenn. I think if we lost the next 2 you would start see it affecting the crowd size. I guess the crowd size might hang on to KY regardless if we lost both but hard to say for sure.

CBS Editing and the Polls

I have not been a fan, per se, on Trump’s attacks on the media, but the CBS editing is truly outrageous. Editing out her answer? (which was profoundly terrible)

As both Ben Shapiro and Megan Kelly have noted, she is slipping in the polls.

Media blitz? It’s what you do when you are falling behind.

For the first time in months, I feel somewhat “buoyed” by the prospect of Kamala not being in the White House and Republicans taking back the senate.

And if Kamala did not give into the anti-Semite wing of the party, she might have actually won PA with the help of Josh Shapiro.

Friday Free-for-All: The Bermuda Triangle

Today is Friday, and you already know what that means: time for another round of Friday-Free-for-All, where you, the member, decide where the topic of conversation goes.

This is a strange time in Florida Football history: The players believe, the coaches think, and the fans—well, they are the fans. Recruits are still in wait-and-see mode, but this game on Saturday night is a huge opportunity for this team and staff to make a statement.

My question to you is simple: after the game is over, how will you sum up this game in one sentence or less?

The floor is yours! Fire away with questions, comments, or concerns.

Football Interesting conversation with Ole Miss booster about Kiffin

I spoke with one of my classmates from Ole Miss last night who is a big donor-booster at OM and I asked him if Ole Miss was worried about losing Kiffin to UF.
His response surprised me. He said no one that he is aware of is concerned that Kiffin may leave to go anywhere. The prevailing attitude is: Ole Miss has given Kiffin everything he wants (money and love) and if Kiffin wants to leave...let him hit the road. They are happy he is in Oxford but they are not going to open the vault to get him to stay.
So if UF wants Kiffin I don't think Ole Miss is going to get into a bidding war.

Two Headed Monster?

Rather than becoming the next school to be dumped after Ol'Miss...

What about using the alleged $12m/yr to hire two elite NFL coordinators and make them co-HC's?

According to the all knowing Google, the highest paid OC is $3m/yr and highest DC is $4.5m.

Target the best and give them $6m/yr each. Get a GM, and run an NFL style operation, as that is what college football has become, whether we like it or not.

I think recruits would run to this model, with competitive NIL.

Two young proven elite NFL coordinators, with compatible personalities, on a mission to jointly own the college football world? Sign me up.

Break the mold of giving the keys to one guy and hope. It could work. We could be the first.
