Like I said in the other thread on the subject, this year there are roughly 30 Olympians with ties to Florida. If this happened to any of the other 29, my first reaction would be to hope that they are okay. When you hear it is Lochte, the first reaction is skepticism.
Then when you read his version of events, that everyone else cowered down and hit the ground when the gun was pulled, but not him, he stood tall until it was pointed at his head, sounded like a douche tall tale.
And that is exactly what it turned out to be.
