Remember when all of you were so SAD that we didn’t get Scott Frost or Chip Kelly? How’s it working out in So. Cal and Lincoln right now? And Willie T. I said from the start he wasn’t a good coach. He was 1-2 games from being canned at USF until Quinton Flowers saved his ass. They said he was a great recruiter but, if you look at his Rivals class rankings over his career, the numbers say he’s not that great. And Jeremy Pruitt being 6-9 at U.T. struggling especially this year, is looking at another S.T. coaching stint in Knoxville.

So, whose been the biggest failure so far? They all have underperformed ( kinda like Sad with Ms. Sad ) but, my ultimate loser is???

Willie Taggart. All I hear is excuses out of Tally but, given the talent he inherited and the weak ACC, he should never go 5-7 with now 2 close games against Division II schools. Chip Kelly is a close 2nd given his past with Oregon and Scott Frost just got caught up in the very weak AAC and got overrated real quickly. Tennesse’s Pruitt is right up there and will probably throw everything he has at the Gators at Noon Saturday so, be a prepared Gator Football team.

Kelly doesn't care about coaching - look at his salary & buyout to see why !

Kelly's base salary is only $300,000 per year for each of the five years, though there's an annual "talent fee" for participating in public appearances, fundraising events and other functions. The talent fee starts at $3 million. Total salary (base plus talent fee) for each year:

2019: $3.3 million
2020: $3.5 million
2021: $4.3 million
2022: $4.6 million
2023: $4.6 million

Kelly is eligible for three $1-million retention bonuses, each owed if he's still head coach through Feb. 15, 2021, Feb. 15, 2022, and Jan. 1, 2023. And he can earn more than $1 million per year in on- and off-the-field bonuses.

Chip Kelly's buyout is simple: If fired without cause during the first four years of the contract, he is owed $9 million. That's far less than the $12 million buyout owed to former head coach Jim Mora, who in 2017 collected 80 percent of his remaining salary in a contract that ran through the 2021 season.

Kelly would love to be fired & go back to being a talking head !

Willie has them exactly where they belong and where they should be and would be without decades of competition ducking and cheating. He’s perfect where he is and should be exactly what they learn to expect.

Kelly is the biggest disappointment. I’m kind of wondering how he ever got a reputation as an elite HC

I think Kelly has made his money and, for whatever reason, doesn't really care anymore.

He was the offensive mind behind Oregon throughout the 2000s and hen had a lot of success with them. Had success early in the NFL (even though his offense is not traditional for the NFL) and after how that ended, I think he's burned out and going through the motions.

Your Scott Frost take is just stupid. You can tell you just looked at season ones records and didn’t do any research at all. Scott Frost took over an absolute train wreck (dumpster fire) of a Husker team left by Mike Riley. Frost had his work cut out for him BIG TIME. He managed to flip that team mid season and finished out 4-2 with a 5 point lose to OSU Buckeyes team (which was a top 5 team at the time and the game was played at OSU stadium) and the second lose came to a solid Iowa team in Iowa City by a last second field goal.

This year, if you actually LOOK INTO IT, Scott Frost’s Huskers is full of freshmen and sophomores all over the two deep. The Huskers are very young and will have some up downs this season. But like the poster below you stated, next year Frost should have the Huskers playing some good football. Again, you have to actually look into the body of work and what the teams where like when said Head Coach took over. Two: this season is only 3 games in...maybe, just MAYBE, let the season play out and let’s see how those coaches progress. Huskers could end up going 8-4 to 9-3 with our weak schedule. The other guys I’m not so sure about.

But As of this far, it has to be a Chip Kelly. His UCLA team looks horrible. But he hasn’t gotten his QB yet. We may hold off to see how he does once he has his guy playing QB.

I don't disagree with this with the exception of the youth part. Most big time programs are young these days. Thanks to the portal and nfl...I like Frost. I will be curious to see how he does next year.

We may have the best one lol thats sad
Pruitt, Taggart and Kelly are all pretty bad right now. Frost is by far the best one of the group with the highest ceiling unless for some reason Kelly decides to start actually coaching again and then he could save himself. He looks disinterested. Taggart and Pruitt are toast

Not sure about the worst coach, but Laker is definitely the worst poster.

And I’m so bad that you read and respond to EVERYTHING I post? I know that your jealous that Ms. Sad got a daily pass on, over and up and down on Space Mountain but, she’ll still tell you those lies you like to hear.
