No, what the CDC says. Most animal to human viruses originate in China, so it makes sense to have a presence there. We send many of our scientists there to study and learn.

Wherever it originated, a viral research lab selling used test animals to the wet markets for human consumption is beyond phucking stupid..... the 09 pandemic came from Chinese wet markets as well - yes?
I can’t really speak to it. I wouldn’t think those test animals released to the markets were infected with a virus. If so, then yes, that would be stupid. But there is no indication this virus originated that way. Though they do make a convenient scapegoat for the Trumpers.
