I am only telling you this story so you can understand the culture our staff is looking for:
a player that UF wants, high profile kid, he is OOS wanted to commit to the Gators silently. Staff told him to go public or they would not take a silent commitment. UF said they have too many top end players on the board. They told him UF is something to be proud of and if you want to hide it you are not ready to commit was the overall basic message. I am not telling that story to create a witch hunt or to discuss the player in question, only so you understand what Napier is trying to establish and create in Gainesville.
