Well, Ted Cruz had some bitter exchanges with PDT as well before he realized the support Trump had amassed. I wouldn't be surprised to see Ron on Trump's ticket by the time the dust settles.
I doubt that will happen as I highly doubt Trump tries changing his state residence due to the other possible states like NV making it too easy for Dems to contest that status. They would literally follow Trump around to contest he truly established residence there and DeSantis would have to resign as Governor to change his residence.
My advice is for Trump to go to some place without extradition and build a resort over the next year. The latest rants are poor for the optics. He is coming off whiny and not righteously indignant. He should announce whenever everyone else does. Lets have a real primary and let the chips fall where they may.

Disagree as that is typical Trump when something like this DeSantis stuff is planned against him.
Publicly blasting DeSantis arguably makes it more difficult for him to not run for president. It puts him in a position where he would look weak for caving into Trump’s bullying.
I seriously doubt his feelings gets hurt the same way the people you support gets their feelings hurt, mean tweets and all. Yeah, I'm sure DeSantis got all butt hurt over what Trumps lawyers said about him.

As far as I know DeSantis hasn't publicly stated he's running for Pres in 2024. I believe @jfegaly said he was asked during the last governor's debate if he would run and he refused to answer.

Correct me if I'm wrong...the rules of that debate, the candidates were not allowed to ask or answer questions from or to their opponents, right?
I think you got it backwards. Trump finds out DeSantis has been huddling with Ryan and the establishment hacks about running in 24, and he calls out DeSantis for it. Then the media, predictably, says Trump is a cancer the pubs need to move on from and fully embrace DeSantis.
But again.....if DeSantis isn't talking to Ryan, not of this happens.
Just be patient. Don't take the bait....let it play out.
If he announces his candidacy, you can still feel this same way then as opposed to now when he hasn't announced.
