Kentucky's John Calipari wants the SEC Basketball Tournament to be played in November and give the automatic bid to the regular season champion.

I can see arguments for and against giving the bid to the tournament or regular season champs, but I would love to hear a valid argument for moving the tournament from the end of the regular season to the beginning of the regular season.
