Way too early Top 25 - Florida # 12...

A true freshman is always a risk as a starter, mistakes are going to be made as they learn.

but, if you have a guy that is wowing you above the veteran (especially when the veteran isn't an established starter) that makes things interesting.

Yep I am obviously going with past history on this (broken record) (multiple situations) and unless Jones gets injured or gets suspended he will be the starter regardless and it wont be an interesting decision short of the young guy dominating the spring game over Jones or something like that. Insta may have a Trask situation # 2 if the young guy is really that good.

Not sure if there is this exact scenario in the past however and might be way off with his thinking however if it really only applies to actual starters in the past.

Just a FYI for any interested...

2017 Elite-11 QB Emory Jones
Participated in the Elite 11 Finals all-star camp in 2017

2019 Elite 11 QB Anthony Richardson
He won the distance throw with a 70+ yard throw.

2020 Elite-11 QB Carlos Del Rio-Wilson
"Del Rio, a Florida commitment, set the tone from his first few throws and his accuracy and timing never slowed down through nearly 20 throws. He was accurate to all three levels and his velocity never tapered off despite being one of the night’s final acts."

And while Jalen Kitna didn't go to Elite-11, his father Jon was an NFL QB and recently the QB Coach for the Dallas Cowboys, so I'd assume that he has some football QB knowledge in his background.... ;)

Hey guys, usf fan here, just curious as to how you view the team conditioning wise, do you guess have confitioning issues? Our team was really bad this year snd we are just hoping to be at .500 next year but none the less, we are excited to play you guys next year. Hopefully, we can hang around until halftime.

In my opinion there is none better than Nick Savage when it comes to conditioning.
