In today's game, WCJr made some incredibly athletic plays that were reminiscent of the type of ball played by the 2007-8 back to back guys. It was thrilling to watch.
Very early in the game, there was an entry pass to Aberdeen that routinely ends in a layup, but he was already too far past the basket when he got the ball, so he casually tossed it over to a cutting WCJr who contorted his whole body in order to make the basket. It was simply mind bending.
WCJr also made an insanely athletic play to steal the ball at the perimeter from the opp guard and take it the other way for 2.
He comes off ball screens for 3s and is able to adjust and right himself in the air to get his mechanics on target.
He makes everything look so easy.
He is perhaps our most athletic guard ever.
He should be POTY in my estimation ...
