Heard an interesting thing said tonight.....not sure if its true but the individual stated that the Trump financial statements where not audited and where simply a compilation. Which seems bizarre to me that any bank would accept compiled financial statement from Donald Trump. If they did that the banks deserve to lose money. Especially with the numbers involved. Now he likely has a variety of entities so its quite possible some where audited and others where not.
But if a compilation the accounting firm doesn't have much of any responsibility. They don't express an opinion and they don't audit the information. Basically they just take the numbers Trump gives them and they put them in the proper format.

What Trump highlights, in your note below on Biden, Hillary, Financial Crisis, etc. is up until 5 years or so ago, before the era of mass-transparency, there was a lot of mis-appropriate actions that were never caught unless there was a massive mistake or a very well empowered and well documented whistleblower. Trump pushed the envelope more than most and with his public persona, he was more likely to attract attention.
At this point, what you see is what you get with Trump. For better or worse, there is no "hidden Trump". If he runs in 2024, there will be a clear choice. For many, many who voted for Biden and a mixed ticket, it will be exceptionally hard to vote for the individual of DJT, but harder to vote for open borders, rising crime, rising inflation, authoritarian-learning decision making (Covid, free-speech), poor foreign policy execution, etc.

Inflation is at the highest in 40 years due to federal government demand and supply impacts (mandates, etc.). Yes, Crime went up in 2020 and continues to expand. A lot of it came from the Equity riots of 2020 and the soft messaging from all levels. To your point, Biden is only the start of accountability. Mayors, DAs are deeply responsible for their issues. It is why Eric Adams won in NY.
The Border is a tragedy and an overflow from the South. Democrats want them as they will, on average, be future voters (read: AOC comment that "Texas will eventually turn Blue").
For your knowledge, I voted for Obama twice. I will leave it open whom I voted for in 2016 and 2020. People can make inferences and guesses. If things continue across these dimensions, I would have a very hard time voting for Biden/Harris in 2024.
My candidate would need to be very strong on the border, crime, inflation/fiscal stimulus, strong on voting security (IDs, targeted mail-in voting, no ballot harvesting) promote open dialogue (left and right), de-intensify the identity dialogue that is coming into all facets of our public and private discourse, I am pro-choice including, at this point, being against mandates (note: I am vaxxed, boosted and wear KN-95 at grocery stores) while celebrating ALL of our citizens and recognizing that for some select cohorts, who are below a certain income or wealth line (Black Americans who came through Slavery and Native Americans), this country still has work to do.
We will see.

I agree with you on the handling of the Border for the most part. I have always been on the side of tougher immigration...…..but the irony is now we will likely NEED more immigration to fill jobs as the baby boomers continue to retire and deplete our work force.

Policing is local, and many municipalities made decisions to reduce police budgets. The Defund movement started May 2020 after George Floyd's murder.
These were all cities that had been run by leftists for decades, the decision was made by leftist politicians and the result was notably higher crime in those cities.
What action did Trump/Republicans take to increase crime? This was a Dem movement. The left owns the crime spike. It's not up for debate.
Note: The movement hasn't gone away, but some city leaders have realized it was a terrible idea and are finally reversing course.
