I have heard several interviews with her and she sounds like an incredible woman. Jamacian by birth, immigrated to US at young age during the hey day of the civil rights movement. Family, being black didn't have an easy life back then. Joined the Marines, where she finally for the first time felt like she was an American. Owns a small appliance repair shop. Is a former director of a Salvation Army home for the homeless. I am very confident she will do well.

Disagree significantly. CO2 has gone up, it's man made and temperatures are rising. Take West Michigan where I live. We used to get 95 inches of snow. We get 35 now. The data is exceptionally clear.

We will continue to disagree, which is fine.

I do agree on the critical role of innovation. Now, where we also likely disagree, is that innovation for Covid-19 was Vaccines. We can and have profoundly reduced hospitalizations and deaths without more lockdowns, schools shut down, etc. It's what Trump did brilliantly.

Now, shutting down our US capabilities or calling the Fossil Fuel industry reflexively "racist" does little to further the cause or the conversation.

Finally, the good news is that CO2 emissions have already dropped - significantly. My personal CO2 has dropped because I can work remotely and not fly 1000 miles a week. That is great. Microsoft Teams has done so much to reduce unnecessary business travel and CO2 emissions. Again, innovation.

The question is how to do we continue to reduce it and, to BCs point, ensure that China and India are fully engaged in this journey.

2.) the average voter has this issue way down the list and rightfully so.
