Clearly, this is changed into a Democratic tool trying to get us involved in a war to make Trump look bad and to keep him from being able to do his primary job and goal, which is to fix the American government. What’s happening now is become dangerous.

What Joe Biden just did, or whoever’s controlling him behind the scenes, is clearly an attempt to distract people from investigating his role in Ukraine, dating back 15 years, in addition to escalating a war to hurt Trump

Don’t know if they can sustain it, But as a product of the Cold War generation I’m enjoying watching Ukraine stand up to Russia like they have for over two years.

But when I posted this, I was hoping it would turn into something like Afghanistan for them, which, in some ways it has, but it is becoming dangerous in terms of potential escalation

You have to wonder if the combination of the resolve of the Ukraine people galvanized under the threat of their liberty combine with the international sanctions in the isolation of Russia will be the end of Vladimir Putin.

Mini age old military lessons are coming into play here. You’re only as strong as your supply chain and those that which to subjugate of people that refuse to be subjugated Are doomed to fail eventually.

Pyrrhic victory once Putin starts with the thermobaric vacuum bombs in Kyiv.... that evil phucker is going to kill a shite load of civies before it’s over
I think he knows if he does that that will be the end of him. Putin is a survivor if nothing else. The only thing you have to fear is does he have some type of terminal diagnosis we don’t know about, that’s when he’ll be crazy enough to do it.

Yeah. Never overestimate the reasoning ability of a crazy person.

We need to hope for a coup in Russia. Putin's disconnection with reality is greater than our own President's disconnection with reality. We are stuck for 34 more months as what are we going to do...put in cackling Commala?

Don’t know if they can sustain it, But as a product of the Cold War generation I’m enjoying watching Ukraine kick the living crap out of the Russian troops. Rash is still out guns them in outnumbers them but watching what a motivated country can do defending his liberty and freedom with most men women and children joining the fight is gloriously impressive.

God bless freedom, God bless liberty, and God bless the Ukrainians. As a veteran of war I know better than most how much I’d rather avoid conflict but as a lover of freedom and liberty it is glorious and there’s a part of me that wishes I was there with them.
Me too. Russia is being exposed. Their lack of military prowess is surprising. This will not sit well with Putin. Also, I cannot believe the gonads of the local NATO Countries helping Ukraine out. Very surprised by this.
I think Putin did something many American Presidents could not do, he is going to help bolster up NATO.

Also concerned over this...however if he does this, it will bite his azz harded than it has ever been bitten. This invasion is NOT popular with anyone...even his own people

He is walking such a fine line

I think if he goes and starts killing hoards of civilian's, this is a real possibility. Rubio's tweet was very cryptic. It makes one wonder.

Agreed. I think in response to his invasion of Ukraine we should eventually bring Sweden and Finland into NATO

i’m not as surprised because they’re using our weapons in our weapons have been superior to the Russians for a long time. That’s why the Russians won’t give up their nukes.

As for the countries giving them all the munitions people were still young enough to remember what life was like under the USSR it doesn’t surprise me at all that they’re bitterly resisting any reestablishment of the Soviet union. Communism and socialism don’t work.

I heard the other night that there were/are quite a few Russian soldiers laying down their weapons and refusing to fight anymore.
It was on a news channel, not sure which one but I think it was Fox - if true I don’t think any of the “main stream media” types would ever report on that ….. if true.

This is so true. As a kid, we were fed a bunch of garbage of how GREAT the MIG 25 Foxbat was, in fact, it was the reason of the development of the F15 to counter it. Until a Russian defected, anf flew one to Japan, did we see how inferior the plane actually was. Secondly, it is not always just about a planes ability. Our pilots are FAR, FAR superior to anything that they have. Russia is getting exposed in such a way, I imagine all the NATO Countries are just as surprised.

I heard listening to the news coming back from lunch that there are almost as many civilians entering Ukraine from Poland, as there are leaving. Mostly men re entering Ukraine to fight the Russians. After hearing that...for the first time I thought...just maybe they can hold Russia off. we will see.

No shite!
Bush tried to do it, Obama tried to do it, Trump tried to do it...they all failed...but Putin managed to get the Europeans (especially Germany) to get a mad on and start doing their part.

I’ve known from my military experience fighting Russian weapon tree that everything we have is better. The one thing I will say for the AK 47 is that piece of crap of work even if you run it through the mud for a week. And while the M 16 or a four short barrel may be more complex, I’ll pick it over an AK-47 any day as long as I have a good enlisted man to help me clean it

🤣🤣🤣

Yeah he greatly miss calculated here and I think he realizes how much is galvanized NATO all over again.

Hopefully they put up some major resistance but what the media is feeding us is a lot of BS and much of it isn't true.

AK's are garbage. Not accurate at all. The reason that they perform well in dirt and mud is because of very poor machine work. Tolerances are HORRIBLE. To me, the ballistics are better, but you cannot carry as many ammo rounds because of the weight. I think our own government purposely exaggerates the effectiveness of their weapons to be able to spend more on ours.

But one thing not mentioned very often is the will to fight. Dictatorships, socialist and governments like those do not have many in their military like we have/had, and like tUkrainian'sans do now. They will not willfully give their life for their Country. I wonder often if we do anymore.

While I agree about the media, I now believe Russia is having major problems with this incursion. They have lost a BUNCH of equipment, and with that lives of their soldiers. And world opinion is about as bad as I have ever seen it. When Germany, France and others stand up to Russia, very surprising.

Well I said I thought M-16s were better, and they are, but you cannot dispute the fact, and I have seen it in first hand combat experience, that AK-47s are remarkably reliable even when they’re 40 years old and pieces of crap. But other than firing it for fun I’ll take my M-16 any day.
Or one of my A.R. 15’s that I have at home.

I agree you could never underestimate the will to fight. Which is pretty much what I was talking about in the first to post in this thread. The human spirit and the willingness to defend what is yours or to the greatest weapons you could ever have on the battlefield. The only way to defeat it, and that will be temporary in most cases, is through exterminating your enemy. And I think that’s what we all feel a little bit of crazy Putin

All talk mostly by those countries with sanctions Russia will absorb for now and then I think Putin will force a lot of them to be dropped to pull out of most of Ukraine. Heck Germany is one of the main clown countries that have allowed this to take place with their green energy nonsense and deals with Russia on energy. I just hope it doesn't turn into a situation where they surround these places cut them off without supplies and just wait them out as that would cause a lot of suffering. Its still only a few days in but the better outcome imo if no agreement is reached is that they rush in there and take that President while most of their forces stay outside the city mostly while letting things continue to function some. More Russian casualties probably but better for the Ukraine people in the long run. I still think we might see an agreement once Russia takes this to the next level though.

The infamous 1776 QUACK 😷

Looks to me like he's trying to gain some lost cred back by claiming to have been a military war hero, instead of just being a behind the lines pill pusher....

Hard to see how Putin gets himself out of this. Unless Ukraine agrees to give Russia some regions of the country.......where is the off ramp for Putin? It will be a disaster for him to try and hold/govern that whole country.
