Watched both games today against LSU on SEC+. Gators won each game 3-0. Ocasio was the winning pitcher in both games. LSU outhit us in both games and in the 2nd game Gourley walked 8 and LSU stranded 12 base runners, but she made the pitches she needed to get out of jams. Defense was tremendous. Scored in the 1st game on a wild pitch and a 2 out double by Lorenz, plus a solo HR by Kvistad. In the 2nd game we only had 1 hit going to the 9th inning, but DeWitt slugged a 3-run HR to give us the win. LSU's pitchers were great (we only got a total of 7 hits in the 2 games), but ours were better. They go for the sweep at Noon Sat. on ESPN2 with freshman Barnhill, probably, on the mound.
