Stats: The Gators now rank #112 nationally in total offense with 322.3 yards per game. That’s up nine spots in the NCAA rankings. On the defensive side, the Gators are tied at #82 with BYU, giving up an average of 405 yards per game. The Gators lead the SEC and are tied for 10th nationally in sacks with 10, 3.33 sacks per game.

The Offense is 2-1, 2-0 SEC

The Defense is 2-1, 2-0 SEC

And considering that Harris went out in Aug, and K.Johnson went out in the Mich game, and 4-5 other defenders apparently went brain-dead before the season even started, the rest of the defense has done pretty well so far.

** Inteceptions - UF 5 (3-Pic6) - 2 Opp

IF Mc-staff ever learns how to identify 'the best players at position' and then get them on the field for a game, o_O they might just take off on both the offense and the defense....

Here's hoping for a coaching epiphany to occur, sooner rather than later.... ;)

Pathetic to have numbers like that considering a mediocre Tenn and KY were 2 of the 3 opponents.

And that's what you see on the field now, can't win with Muschamp style ball.. and even his bad teams beat the ones we should have just lost to soundly... Now we need miracles to scrape by them because of the talent drop and maintaining the same level of shit on offense and ACTUALLY REGRESSING in year 3..

even worse, Del Rio noodle arm has been back reverted to our actual QB again... smh, **** life.. This can't be.... life

Not defending Mc but didn't Muschamp have to have OT to beat UK and beat UT 10-9 with a GW field goal? Then Muschamp lost to Vanderbilt..USCar multiple times, and Ga Southern.

and Florida fired him for it, didn't they... to hire a guy that could do what....

FSU has a worse offense than us? That's interesting.

We played 2 games, you played 3, 1 of our 2 was bama. We have looked ok on offense this yr. Havent gotten in the endzone much but we move the ball. I think our offense is better than the gators but h3ll, we are 0 and 2 so f it

Yeah, when u play two games and one of them is Bama, that tends to happen. They will absolutely finish substantially higher than UF.
FSU scored less points in their NC State game than UF put up in their UT & UK game.

FSUs offense is probably better than UFs but right now the FSU offense isn't very good based on statistical rankings.

Makes me wonder why the SEC vs ACC SoS never seems to be admitted to nor accounted for by those from Clown-U...

remember other teams have cupcakes to pad stats we havent played a real cupcake yet

I was going to bring that up.

It certainly doesn’t help.

And then there’s plenty of teams who never really play many decent teams, especially ones with actual defense.

I also saw an interesting point on a show the other day. We will never have a really high offensive ranking because we always let the play clock run down and don't run a lot of plays compared to the tempo offenses

Not sure where we stand on that but in some article it said LDR was getting the plays off on average 4 seconds faster than Franks against Kentucky.

You have to look t more than just total yards gained when ranking an offense. that's the easy thing to do but there is so much more advanced statistics...not that we're doing good, but maybe not quite as bad as it seems
