I believe in this case they took hundreds of accounts and classified them internally as being 'Q' accounts. Once they had created that designation, then they started censoring any 'Q' account, then finally they decided to ban them all.
Looks like some got back on today. Others are saying they still can't get on and some saying they don't even have an option to appeal anymore.
