Tucker Carlson and Fox News part ways

ets see what is really happening here. This is HUGE. This may be a total direction change in how these major news outlets cover the news. Maybe they are getting away from opinion based stuff...which I would welcome IF....they would just unbiasedly...cover the REAL news
They can't do that. When you have a network that provides 24 hours of content a day, the great majority of it will have to be commentary. The actual news for the day could be reported in 60 mins spread out in 15 min blocks throughout the day.

No...not cut it all out...just cut it way back. Still ned entertainment, but we NEVER get "just the news" from ANY network. and I think america is starving for that

Did Bill O’Reilly pay $30+ million to settle claims of a “nonconsensual sexual relationship”?
No idea what Bill O'Reilly did or didn't do. I remember he made a comment about how he couldn't keep the female anchors at Fox straight, 'All I see are blondes everywhere". He was fired a week or two later.

I'm sure your fake rape victims theory is possible, tho.

He paid $32 million to Lis Wiehl to settle claims of “repeated sexual harassment, a nonconsensual sexual relationship, and sexually explicit e-mails.”

They didn't HAVE to pay anything, they could have taken it to trial and apparently REALLY didn't want to. It's called a settlement, not a ruling.

You only care about lying if you think Republicans are doing it. Stop being a partisan hypocrite.
I never said it wasn't ruling but they have to pay 787 million, due to the admitted lies. The judge even acknowledge that it was proven that FOX knowingly lied.

I don't think they lying, I read their own words, SO, I know they are lying. Did you not read the text messages?

Well that sounds believable. If he raped her, why did she continue to have a relationship with him and continue to accept his emails?

Sounds like you got hoodwinked.

I really like her...but she made a HUGE mistake during the debate. I will bet she wishes she could take that moment back...Trump obliterated her, and it end up costing her, her job.
She left was by far the best that fox had wasn’t even close she and Wallace are the only two that even pretended to care about journalism.

Read the stories of the text messages.
That is the difference. You know, I am a fan of you Capt, but in this case, Fox was in the wrong and should have taken a FAR different journalistic stance here.
Also in the deposition, I will bet, their risk management department was saying, "DO NOT continue to put this forth" and
The rumor that has been floating around since the settlement is that Bartiromo is toast

Not only was she a prime liar but she also has them involved in another lawsuit with a former producer
over the same crap
She has seemingly lost her way. Not impressed in how she has taken her career.

Exactly, not sure why @fatman76 is even fighting this and/or trying so hard to compare. They just don't compare.
LOL Project Veritas had CNN on camera admitting that Trump being a Russian agent was all bullshit. Van Jones admitted it was a 'nothing burger'.

Breaking news: Anchors at media companies sometimes complain about the topics that management tells them to cover.

they had steadily been moving left for the past couple of years

then the $787 miill settlement with Dominion voting machines and I am sure we will see others go soon as well

I would like to see Tucker emerge on Newsmax
And isn't it funny how Hannity is still there? Of course, he is so he can keep bringing on Lyin' Lindsey.

That's actually not what Tucker texted. He texted that he hated having to talk about Trump every single night. Which is NOT the same thing as saying he hated Trump.

This is another example of the media lying and hoping no one investigates their claims.
You’ve corrected him on this at least one other time, maybe more.

What am I fighting?

I don’t watch FoxNews, and I don’t watch Tucker’s show (I do see YT clips occasionally of his monologue).

I honestly couldn’t care less if the network goes down like the Hindenburg. In fact, I sort of applaud it. The moment they called AZ at 11% reporting and wouldn’t call FL with 95% in I knew it was over for them.

Your hypocrisy, however, knows no bounds. It’s crazy to watch.

For a guy that doesn't care, you definitely defend them well.

This, like LOVING Trump personally is the biggest WRONG stereotype ever. Most conservatives really do not like FNC. What they do not realize is that more moderates, and democrats watch FNC than ANY other news channel. Same with conservatives...however when they showed their true colors on election night 2020...most of us fell out of love with them. I still watch a few shows there...because I really like the talent...not the network. I really enjoy Outnumbered..especially when Emily, Harris and Kayleigh are on all together, and I watch a bit of Fox and Friends in the morning. I used to spend 3-5 hours a day with FNC on...not it would be a bit over an hour a day. Mostly F&F's in the morning. Ainsley is HAWT!
