Longshot but thought I would ask anyway. Wife and I are in Zion, we have 5 days of gap to fill between here an our next destination. Anyone ever been to the areas between sw Utah and Yellowstone?

Trying to figure out if we should go to salt lake to kill time, Idaho falls, or somewhere else. If anyone has any ideas of good places to visit around or between the two please share.

TIA

You might try Skinwalker Ranch in NE Utah, or that general area.

I hear that there are some exceptional sights to be seen in that area....

Park your rental at any downtown curb in SLC and spend the night. An absolute no, no in Democrat-run South Chicago or Jersey City.

Being as that I live in SLC and know Utah pretty well, you should visit Moab, Goblin Valley, and San Rafael Swell. All those places are near each other. Then take Spanish Fork canyon out of Price, UT and you’ll land on i15, head north and you’ll hit Provo, then the Salt Lake Valley. Then hit i80 east and spend some time in Park City. Continue on i80 east into Wyoming and from there hit Jackson and then Yellowstone.

Just my two cents

Appreciate it. We hit moab for 9 days prior to 2 weeks in glendale to visit zion and bryce. I will check out the others you mentioned as I15 is the route my map is telling me to take.

Have a great trip bro and post pics. I can't help you here, the Rockies and some of those southwestern states I know zip about.

Utah is the first state I ever laid eyes on a Chrysler PT Cruiser in transit. I saw 2 truck loads of brand new Dodge SUV's based on the Dakota loaded onto trucks at the now closed Delaware factory departing for Park City, UT for the magazine boys to check out.
