its sucks that we lost Grier but I still think we can escape with a win. As long as Treon doesn't make any big mistakes and we can get the running game going to some extent, I think we've got a shot. Anyways, it all come down to our front 7 containing (there is no stopping) Fournette.

Next man up!

Hope so, but I didn't think we were winning even before this. LSU just really doesn't lose at home, I believe something like 90% of their losses at home under Miles have come to teams that went on to BCS games. So the trend is clear...to beat them at home you have to be an elite team and we're not that. Would love to be wrong though.

I think we may remain almost as competitive as we were, and the fact that both QBs have been involved for so long helps. To say it doesn't hurt would be foolish, and the fact that Harris has had his own disciplinary issues as well is very concerning.

Harris is better than their QB - if we don't lose the turnover battle and slow Fournette down some we will win I think.

That's the thing...while LSU isn't a flashy team they don't make mistakes, they don't turn it over, and they can pound you with the ball...their physicality is something that is hard to match. I think that we can slow them down but as the game goes on not sure if we can handle them with while being thin at LB. If Treon can take care of the ball and make some plays on 3rd and long that's what it will probably take....that and a decent running game. We'll need to make some explosive plays on offense.

All those past LSU teams were much better, this might be the worst team ive seen under Miles. They are nobody special

I haven't watched them a bunch but they are always strong on D and they seem to run the ball really well. It's a big game against a very good team...like any other game the team with the least amount of mistakes will win. We'll see what happens.

LSU's defense was getting shredded by about the 4th or 5th different QB spurrier was trying at this point in the season. Their defense has taken a hit without Chavis, they are giving up a good bit of yards. Even cuse 5th string walk on was hitting big bombs, they are very weak there for a school that calls themselves DBU. Our offense is a system and they will cater it to Treon and he will hit some balls on them and move the football. He's been going against arguably the best defense on scout every week WHILE working with the 1's daily too. Mcelwain is the brains behind this operation, many guys are going to look good at QB over the years in this system and people are about to find that out fast. He said he could play his dog at QB for a reason..

This is Treon's chance to show Gator Nation that he can keep this train on the tracks. A man with something to prove can be very driven. We can win this if we just slow Fournette down.

Well, if we are looking for a positive, it's pretty much a given that Coach has known this was coming since the first test came back. So I'm sure he's been working with Treon to get him ready for this. LSU will have almost no film on Treon in this offense, we were very vanilla at the beginning of the season.

This will show us a lot about coach, IMO. Grier was his type of QB and was able to run his offense. Treon is a different guy. If coach tries to make him play like Grier, I foresee a large amount of fail. However, if the game plan is altered to use Treon's strengths I think we catch LSU off guard and get some solid production. What's really great is after LSU we have the off week, so the coaches can install a bunch more plays for him that Georgia won't have a clue about. If we somehow get past both these games, we are almost a lock to be 11-0 going into FSU. I think it's very doable.

I'm picking UF to upset LSU.

The news about Will's potential suspension was known at UF for some time after the "A" sample came back positive. The NCAA notifies both the player and the member institution, and advises that a "B" sample confirmation is underway. Once the "B" sample comes back positive, the player and institution are notified the player is now inelligible. They say the initial testing takes 10-15 days. Dont know how long it takes them to run the "B" sample...but it could be the same. My point is...Mac has likely had some time to plan for this possibility.

Mac seems on the ball, and I'm pretty sure he's been repping Treon regularly...even if he didn't know Will might be in trouble. A sprained ankle could mean Treon is taking snaps at any moment. Your offense will be ready.

LSU doesn't have very much film on Treon running Mac's offense. I think that's a big advantage for UF. Remember...they found out about the suspension when we did.

If UF's defense can stave off huge break away running plays and force LSU to drive the field, I think the Gators win.
