New Florida coach Billy Napier has made another off-the-field staff hire, with the Gators announcing the creation of a new position on Thursday afternoon.

Florida has tabbed Tony Hill as its new associate director of sports health for football, the program announced in a press release. Hill worked at Louisiana last season as the associate director of sports medicine and head football athletic trainer under Napier.

Another BS title & more money wasted; one more suck up from ULL !

Wonder how much they are paying "Billy" for these cush jobs ?

These are all positions that Bama, UGA, A&M and a few others have on their staffs as well. He said he was bringing and army and we are giving him money to do it.

And wasnt that the agreement before his hire, to give him the type of control that Saban also had? Not sure why this is surprising to Jax.....especially for the reason you noted that the position isnt uncommon.

Frankly, after the last 3 hires, we gotta keep things the same? I'll pass on that.

If he wants to hire somebody hes got experiance with and trusts to get the job done......instead of rolling the dice with a stranger....then Im cool with that. Not every staff relocation is "Mullen"-like.

You are correct! We gotta do things differently than we have been if we want to compete. If we don’t want to compete than we can continue “status quo”. Status quo isn’t going to work in today’s college football environment.

Totally agree. Just sign the damn check. If he crashes well then we’ll deal with it.
