Is America better off with our biggest global rival owning a major social media platform here in the US?

Or even owning 50% of it?

The real danger here is what we don't know. Technology, AI, etc. are advancing at such a rapid pace we can't possibly predict what we will have and what we will be able to do in even 10 years (or perhaps what we have now that isn't generally known). In that environment its absolutely stupid to allow the Chinese to have this kind of control, this kind of foothold, in ANY social media platform in this country.

So, yes, this flip by Trump is disturbing on multiple levels.

The problem here is he flipped from the right answer to the wrong one.

And bad example on Biden, he didn't change his mind, he just lied to everyone originally. I don't think Trump lied here.
