Four-star CB Jaelen Waters 6-2 180 2026 has decommitted from Florida, just a day after Gators' secondary coach Will Harris confirmed his departure. Since Harris recruited him, I can't say that I'm surprised with his de-commit, nor would it surprise me if he then commits to the scUM.... Waters left the criminoles to sign with UF/Harris, so him again flipping to the scUM would not be shocking imoho.

Waters holds a total of 54 offers but I'd expect him to follow Harris.
But hey, maybe his leaving had nothing to do with Harris's departure?

Prior to Harris' departure and reported hiring at Miami, Waters had become a recruit many were keep a close on eye on as a possible flip. Waters had recently taken a visit with the Hurricanes for junior day and has since been crystal balled to Miami by 247 Sports' Gaby Urrutia.

So maybe the egg came before the chicken in this case....

Billy - As they say, the ones who bleed together are brothers. We went through the trenches last year and pulled out one hell of a finish. Yep he is definitely butthurt over something. My guess it's most likely Sunseri being hired and given 2nd billing on the defense after Armstrong left.

Coaches move around all the time fever, so I doubt from what he said that he's much 'butt-hurt' over it, and he got another good job with a UF recommendation, I'm betting, so really it's NBD imo.

lol.. That is 100% butthurt in that outgoing statement. It's about as clear as you can be without giving details and attacking Napier directly. It was kind of funny he said the stuff about Stricklin and him listening with his open door policy. Makes you wonder if he was crying in his beer to Stricklin hoping to influence Napier's decisions.

🤣 If you aren't butthurt you were passed over you don't go posting on Twitter to the world all that mess. Especially the stuff about apparently crying in Stricklin's office about the situation. Even Magic Mike White had more dignity than to post crying stuff like that when he left.

Actually, after you went and complained to the AD and didn't get your way, the next step in butt-hurt is sending out resumes, because only a fool screams "I quit" and slams the door on the way out.
