MJ berrated me fo mentioning this earky in the year. Well now his boy Mac will pay the price for that decision

I was thinking about this some yesterday trying to look at it from Mac's perspective. What if Franks has made a few strides in practice but clearly is struggling some upstairs (he has thrown 4 picks in his 19 attempts since leaving his high school team) - would it be smart to throw him in against FSU or Bama and maybe have a disastrous performance or might it make more sense since its so late in the season to go ahead and take the redshirt and not hurt his confidence possibly going forward.

If Mac really thought Trask was just a little ahead of Franks right now despite his depth chart but Franks was clearly the future most likely due to more raw talent do you throw Trask out there or would that create issues with Franks going forward if Trask played half way decent. I think he is just taking the easy way out and by not letting LDR take some of this beating and it scares me he could possibly go to him again next season if Franks is still struggling some.
