This could be even better , ie ~ Riley

LSU AD Scott Woodward to me seems much dumber than the previous Doocshe AD, Joe Aleva. He should have stayed at Texas A&M.

Unless that NFL coach is leaving its a letdown for LSU fans. They have soured on the guy at Bama. Aranda would save them a little in their minds.

Well according to this guy, LSU is getting Napier...

I can make this very clear to #LSU fans... Billy Napier prefers the LSU job by A LOT. He would leave Florida hanging at the alter if LSU seeps in at the last second AFTER the Sun Belt title game next weekend. If LSU does not hire Napier, it's because they got their first choice

LSU would do well to hire Mullen…he would kick ass there…

If Heupel were to go to OU…holy shit…that would be wild…
Wanna lay $1,000 on that Sad? Mullen will end up as an OC somewhere next year. Does that salary come out of his $1,000,000 for the next 6 years? Small buyout. Oregon’s was $16,000,000.

My guess is Mullen will take the year off. UF has to give him $6 million within 30 or 60 days of his firing and $1 million per year for the next 6 years, regardless of whether or not he lands another job. He can well afford to take it easy, let things settle down and weigh his options. He could just ride off into the sunset.

Could it be that Bob Stoops is trying to sucker, err, convince the OU AD to hire his brother Mark?

I can see Heupel bolting Tennessee for his alma mater at OU. It's got to be his dream job with all the resources and talent there. Far more than what he has in Knoxville. He'd have a much better chance in Norman being in the SEC than he ever would in Knoxville. Tennessee has been in shambles for many years. If he leaves, Rocky Top will continue to stay at the bottom.

That article was a whole bunch of nothing and not committing to anything by that guy. We will see who they get. As myself and others have said on this board LSU has won a national title with 2 dud coaches. LSU pretty much recruits itself so you can luck into a national title if a few things fall your way.
Simply lock down the LA talent. Cherry pick a handful out of TX and MS. Grab a national guy or two. Find a capable OC and DC for 1 season. Find 1 Bama weakness and you got yourself a national title. Bonus is you have a good QB, but not required, just makes it easier. Nothing extra hard, just go with that blueprint.

I don't see Clemson bouncing back from this past year as well as losing Venerables. Only thing they have going their way is the AAC is crappy and no team is a contender to catch up to them with their current HC',s. Only current competition is Wake Forest 🤡
It’s the ACC but what’s the difference.

Not an easy thing to do in the West with Bama and that schedule even though they did it with 2 recent coaches. A 12 team playoff changes everything though. 2 loss pre-SECCG SEC teams will be 100% locks to get in then.

Not easy but not impossible. Here is an impressive list of coaches who have won the west the past 11 years

Gene Chizik
Les Miles
Gus Malzhan
Ed Orgeron
