I’d be interested to see what happens. Interesting thing about American healthcare, I can tell you from first-hand experience that if you’re actually sick with a medical problem do you want to be here. You don’t wanna be anywhere else. Outside of vaccinations preventative healthcare is it Kennard, so be where are you world health organization Rankins of healthcare systems across the world. There’s a lot of bias in politics in that.
What I found interesting as a critical care doctor was that after they pass the affordable care act my pay actually went up. I am in a critical need specially where there are far more jobs than there are doctors that can do what I do well. I have seen my salary increase at least every 3 to 4 years by 5 to 10% and it continues to do so. The only thing I truly fear is a single payer healthcare system because that will destroy one of the largest And most productive segments of our economy. That said I’ve always advocated insurance reform, question always becomes what should it look like.
gator, i am totally against packing the Supreme Court which is what has happened due the unfortunate deaths of 3 justices in one Presidents term. These judges are human and that makes them vulnerable. to have the most powerful court and judges in the land vulnerable scares the crap out of me. As far as taxes are concerned, somebody has to pay the bills coming due for the virus and resulting stimulus plans and lowered tax income. I believe it should paid based on income. Not a whole lot of sense in taxing those trying to get by on lower than poverty wages. No on the new states. You asked, There you go.......jim
You do understand the concept of packing the supreme court right? It refers to adding more than nine justices, not to appointing justices when people die. As for taxes I would prefer to keep the taxes where the rat and just re-grow the economy which will happen once we stop acting like idiots about coronavirus. We agree on the third.

I agree we have the best healthcare in the world,, especially for critical care, but also the most expensive by far. Others are able to provide similar levels of care at a much lower cost. And yes, I blame the insurance companies, unreasonable tort claims, and lack of cost control motivatios for basic care.
I wouldn’t say similar. And there are things that we could do better in terms of distribution of our healthcare, but there’s really not anybody close in terms of innovation in finding cures. The type of healthcare we have promotes invention, discovery, experimentation offer profit. Nobody else does that anymore. The vast majority of the new cures Come from America. I exclusively but the majority. Take away the capitalistic affect and you will lose that. History also shows that if you water down some thing to try and make sure everybody gets some it ends up not being nearly as good for everybody, the public schools.
