I couldn't imagine having learned as much about the basics of the game not playing in pads as a young kid and learning everything good and bad, get the fear out of them from contact and how to take and give it.. No one really gets hit hard enough or weighs enough to give concussion blows at that age without a bad fall on the ground hitting your head... by the time we got to 8th grade at middle school level we were terrorizing people running the football from the basics we already knew right before HS...8th grade was like an extra freshmen year towards HS at learning the game

if we keep pushing the game the route it's going, that terrible defense we see out there from like Big 12 teams not being able to tackle anyone is going to continue long term...each year it looks more and more like these teams and kids have never tried to tackle anyone in open space or a drill in their lives

Now the threat of future litigation is something that colleges and franchises will be forced to consider.

Football has the highest ratings of any sport and its not even close. I heard this same argument 10 yrs ago. Im not gunna lie, i think its a good argument but money will always win. Espn has been losing viewers becuz they get political. They get bias. People still fill stadiums and watch every saturday and sunday. Monday night football was vsry low but again i think its becuz what is being promoted is feelings and wussiness instead of the game and the players. Not, im not watching becuz they have redskins as tgeir name and thats racist bs. I doubt football will go anywhere. I think more rules will be made, steroid use needs to be cut WAY down and they need to find safer helmets. All the people in that study r dead, which means they played a long time ago, the game has gotten safer but the players have gotten bigger and faster. I dont think any supplements should be allowed at all. Most of it is liberals who think people cant make their own decisions. People and players know the risk. I always laff when players say, i didnt know. Really? U thought hitting ur head that hard was what? Good for u? No way any person with common sense didnt stop and think, u know, this might harm me.

I wonder if they will put a "play count" on players. Saying u can only play a certain amount of plays or something like that. I could honestly see that happening. Also capping people to only play 10 yrs in NFL. Im sure some regualtions will start filtering in over the next 20 urs but we r at least 100 yrs away from deleting football and by then they might have a solution on how to keep it more safe.

20 recruits per year, for, say, 50 years, that's a thousand potential payouts. 200K per would be 200M total. Fairly crushing.
