For those laughing, and by the way, I am taking a pro-Trump stance here, if you are an advisor and you are telling the POTUS that there was fraud and that Trump should put HIS reputation on the line, you (Powell and Giuliani) better bring great evidence and defend your position clearly and concisely. That is YOUR JOB and RESPONSIBILITY.
My view is that they let him down. Powell gets destroyed in every forum. Guiliani is not much better.
Back when Trump was running the apprentice, where he was VERY sharp, he would say, "you are fired".
Worse than I thought. He may take a little hit with that all over social media. Quite a few of his supporters have Trump as their 2nd choice still and that may get them believing the establishment label finally.
I think he is VP material...not POTUS. His stance on Ukraine showed his true colors. Also they ALL attacked Vivek (except Burgam) which exposes their true identity. THEY HATE non politicians who do not play their game.
He did VERY poorly explaining his stance on Israel and Taiwan...actually avoided it.
He’s very well spoken, but comes across smarmy and like a game show host. . He throws out a lot of platitudes and declarations of things he’s going to do but has no plan or idea how to do it. He’s not been in the conservative battles taking on the hard left, like Trump and DeSantis, who have proven records and achievements.
Thats why I like Trump first and DeSantis second. The others I have NO use for
I am all in on Trump. DeSantis scares me now. His judgement has been HORRIBLE. And on paper..he SHOULD be the smartest person in the room...and he is not. I am not giving up on him, I just wonder how such a GREAT Governor can look so disingenuous when talking about being POTUS. I THINK it is because he is saying out loud what he is TOLD to say, and not what he feels in his heart. HUGE mistake.
He was always a Bush type and connected to that crowd. He was smart and played up to Trump and MAGA to become Governor and then either him or his wife's arrogance got the best of him or it was simply he couldn't turn down the bogus book deal big bucks from the big donors. He has finally reached the point where he will never have his previous primary numbers so what do the PACs do now. There is no good alternative apparently. Do they hold the money for later or continue this suicide mission.

while I am anti abortion the heart beat bill (6 weeks) would be a reasonable compromise - and make the plan B pill available to all- if you have unprotected sex go the next day and get that pill

I agree. If that is the worst thing someone does we would be fine...however we have a guy selling access to our Country to our worst enemies...and their supporters do not care one bit. THAT is what we should be worrying about
You're talking about Wikipedia as it relates to the description of his education scholarship in 2003. Fast forward 20 yrs and you're running for POTUS as a small govt conservative. I'd probably want any reference to Soros off my digital footprint as well. If he had a relationship with George Soros, I'd probably be concerned. Not in this case.

Agree completely. And publicly, for now, you have to have a similar backbone for Taiwan.
However, with Israel, it has to be backed up with the full might of American power and influence. Taiwan is largely a bluff. We'll make it extremely painful for China but we absolutely cannot be all in like we would and should be for Israel.

I heard him say that was not true when Haley was blistering him last night. Let me be clear...there is sOMETHING about him that I do not trust. But I also know the establishment HATES him, which makes me look closer at him. they lie, chat and steal, and will do anything to stay in power.
I'm not stating it as fact, rather hypothesis...
My guess is that Vivek was more liberal in his youth, as many of us are/were, and that's what and why he scrubbed. Add to that, he's a newcomer so it's not like he could contradict his more liberal youth with conservative experience as a politician.
Would it have been better to leave that up and explain it as I just did? Yup.

Do I buy that? No, certainly not entirely. That sentence was incredibly harmful to him and would be for the US if he becomes POTUS unless he somehow shows (see actions, not words) that he supports Israel completely and that China will pay a VERY heavy price for invading Taiwan.
Also, just to be a realist, eventually we will allow China to invade Taiwan. I'm adding that for context...yes, that sucks for the Taiwanese.
I agree with you. I am NOT making excuses for him, however since he is NOT an establishment type...I would like to hear from HIS mouth what his stance is. And I can see through BS 15 miles away. I just know the establishment will ie,cheat and steal. If here is ANY of 1. cutting aid to Israel, or 2. allowing China to take over Taiwan..I am OUT. Remember..he was about the only NON Ukraine aid person on the stage last night.

Also, at age 22...I was smarter than everyone, especially my parents, and I knew everything that I needed to know. Turns out this part was false.
I was never a liberal. But I absolutely had more liberal views on certain subjects and life taught me that I was wrong.
It was 15 for me. I became THE smartest person on the planet...and my Lawd was I wrong. I was not blessed as some to have my life's path all figured out. EVERTHING I have ever learned was from 100% screwing it up, then learning the proper way. I feel so sorry for my Dad...I think he gave up trying with me because I was "SO SMART". He died 20= years ago, I REALLY owe him and my Mom a HUGE apology.
There's no doubt that Haley was capitalizing off those comments, somewhat out of context, and knew exactly what she was doing. But he needs to get right by those comments, quick like and in a hurry.
