If that QB plays against our defense, they will have a hard time.. Dobbs hurt us with his legs and balance with them to open up the pass, this guy reminds me of nathan peterman or whatever his name was in the pocket against us... Most teams run the ball and do everything well against GT's defense, this game could be as big of a shit fest as the one from 2014 in Neyland.. UT's defense is worse than ours obviously, but in reality I can see their offense, it's not gonna move the ball against decent defenses with that QB, he can't open up the D's with his arm and make the run go before that.
No matter how bad we looked, in all reality, we should win that game. Butch Jones is in deep shit, they actually looked worse than I expected they would be, even in a win. Most rushing yards in school history, how many teams have ever won a game giving that up? They only had the ball like 18 minutes[/QUOTE

Your DL is not as good as it was last year. Our OL is better than it was. We went into the Ga. Tech minus a 5* LOT due to his getting caught failing a piss test for smoking dope. . Kelly is a no nonsense north-south runner who only needs a crease and he is gone. He is a speed back who will be in your secondary in the blink of an eye if given a chance.
On the other hand, your rushing attack was the worst in the league last season. Your best RB, Scarlett had only 100 more rushing yards than our Q/B and had only 1 more rushing TD than our # 5 Rusher.
Passing with Zaire is a joke. He was never a pocket passer type Q/B. He should never have seen the field. If anything, Allen should have been put in. At least he will be around for the long haul and needs the experience.
I had no idea what the Florida offense was trying to establish on Saturday. Perhaps it was just a bad game that nothing good could be taken from it and is best forgotten. The short routes were available and the old saw is take what the defense is giving you and when they try to stop that after you are getting successful, then go for the throat. Been many a 5 yd completion turned into a 50 yard TD. UT had one of those tonight. Get out on the edge, make one man miss and use speed to outrun everyone else to the endzone. It don't take putting 60 yards of air under the ball to get a lot of yardage.
On that Zaire fumble, Ivey didn't touch the DE who put an inside move on him. Then after the fumble and defensive TD, Ivey was screaming at the OG..OG had moved inside to help the Center. Either there is some terrible miscommunication going on or there are some players who need a sit down and a good ass chewing for giving up a defensive TD on one of the most critical parts of the field.
