Down 21, Gators bball came back and won in 2OT.

I thought season was over when we were getting blown out in 1st half showing no pulse on offense or defense.....and here we are with the W!

Good thing they somehow came back because it was looking very very bad there for awhile.

I was watching the NFL Playoffs and only saw bits and pieces of the Gator game. Great comeback, no doubt.

I have to admit there were a few times I wanted to switch to the NFL game. Gators took forever to get past that 6 to 9 point deficit. What a great finish!

You're right Nick. We got the lead under 10 pretty early in the 2nd half but seemed to be stuck on 8 down. I was like can we get this thing to 5 so I feel like we have a chance!! Great comeback. We played with no energy in the first half. Funny thing is that being down by so much forced us to speed up our offense in the 2nd half.....and surprise surprise...it worked

I think they look more comfortable running the floor rather than half court offense. Scottie Lewis and Keyontae Johnson are phenomenal athletes.

We all know that college football is king...

But for those who love college hoops, there is nothing more enjoyable than watching an uber-talented team figure out how the pieces fit over the entire course of a season...

If Florida can discover and figure out the potential of their power and how to fully unlock it...they will become a tremendous force to be reckoned with...

All the Mike White haters probably had to delete the threads/posts they had ready to unleash the second after we “lost” this game...

perhaps next week...

Nothing cements a teams chemistry like a hard fought, grinding forty(or fifty ) minute struggle to win a game.

I see this college basketball season much like the '07 college football season. It's like hot potato at #1. I think there have been 3 twenty plus underdogs winning outright.

How are not more people posting in this thread?!?!?!?!

Dude....come on....the fact that we were even down that much in the first place is silly.

Mike White isn't the guy. I just truly don't see how there's any basketball fan that doesn't get that.

Then again, my father doesn't understand how anyone would possibly want to lose Todd Grantham.

All a matter of perspective I suppose.

Although it's cool that they came back, I'm not excited that they were in that position in the first place.....against Alabama(the worst team in the SEC) ....at home.

As Sad said, there's 18 games left. That means that they've played a good portion of games already and are still allowing themselves to get in this position of losing to very bad teams. To me, you have to give credit to bama choking just as much as Uf not giving up.

I'm not trying to be a debby downer, but I doubt elite basketball programs would be patting themselves on the back if they were in our situation. The excuses that could be made at the beginning of the season can only go so far. A win is a win, and I get that. However, there's a problem that persists. If it doesnt get corrected dont be surprised if UF gets knocked out in the first round of the ncaa tourney by some scrub team that shouldn't even be there in the first place.

It's not about the moment, its about the program. That's why, like it or not, basketball programs like UK,Indiana, Kansas,etc...would have the same perspective. You can call them spoiled, but they are looking beyond the temporary "moment" because they know where they've been. It's because they do this, they succeed again. This is reflective in many successful coaches and players as well.

Would you be excited if UF was losing to Towson midseason this year by three touchdowns, but came back and won in double overtime?

A person could be glad the team won AND be concerned about the program at the same time.

Indiana hasn't been relevant in basketball for quite while. They were pretty good in 2016, but haven't made the Elite 88 since 2002 and have only made the NCAA tournament in 4 of the last 10 seasons. No longer at the same level as Duke, Kansas & Kentucky.

Three minutes into that game I told my bride that we could lose this game by 20 pts.
With 3 minutes left in the half, I revised that to losing by 40 pts.
With 4 minutes left in the game I said that if they managed to pull out a win, it would be a bigger 'yanked outta their butt' game than the Tennis-sea bowl game come-back was.
HOLY SHEETT!!! --- They pulled it off.... :D -- UF 104 - 98 UA

That Mike White guy needs to be fired for his gross failures to recruit or coach...
Post Game Mike -- "It looks a lot better when the ball goes in the basket." o_O
(sounds like something that the iG's been saying...) ;)

IMO, coaching makes up 50% of the success. The other 50% has to come from the players. Executing the coaching and game planning, and putting the ball in the basket.

I do.

But that doesnt change the fact that thousands of times we've seen them show concern at the same time on rivals. And not on rivals.com only....but on other sources and even in-person on the same day after the game.

Basketball play is different than football play...the final result has less impact than football outcomes and there's a lot more that goes into how it was played.

It does't have to be one or the other, happy or concerned. You can be happy that you got the win and concerned at the same.

Get on the train Paco...18 games left....
Unfortunately, Paco is not that decisive, he will hang around the station and watch people jump on board or just hang out. Now he has newcomer Justpeachy to keep him company. At least Paco very quietly eventually jumps on board.

Uses his finely tuned 'selective memory' to forget what's gone past, then tries to 'sneak' on board while nobody's looking is more like it.... :D
