Some Delta Variant info out of the UK

Some interesting info that can be found in the link below. Some highlights for me were that yes, the Delta variant is affecting unvaxxed people at a higher rate including hospitalizations.

However, the most important data point I found was that among all patients from Feb. 1 - July 19 there were more deaths among fully vaccinated patients than unvaccinated patients 224-165.

Despite vaccination status, based on the info, advanced age still appears to be the biggest risk factor...only 45 patients under 50 years old were reported to have died regardless of vax status vs. 415 over 50 years old. Comorbidities were not included from my quick scan of the info but almost certainly they play a role.

Total # of Delta cases during the time frame was 229,000.

I think if the CDC knew more they wouldn’t keep botching their messaging as much as they have. This whole thing looks like incompetent people allowing themselves to be used politically and as long as their power source keeps giving them power they’ll just keep marching people right to the cliff.

I believe it was less than a week ago that @LizardGrad89 and @gator1776 were claiming that only 1% of covid cases were from the already vaccinated.

So we've gone from 1% of covid cases being the already vaccinated to over 50% of covid DEATHS being the vaccinated.

IN A WEEK.

It will be VERY interesting, and VERY revealing to see how the powers that be react to this dramatic shift in cases and deaths.

What they do next will tell us what their true intentions are.
