If they do I give up. Like LizardGrad said there's two of em and they'd have damn near 20 months to get ready. I don't expect them to beast right away but after a few games in if they aren't better than what we've been forced to watch just blow it up and start over.
I still think our best offense in 2010-12 would have been Reed at quarterback running zone read every play with the occasional jump pass thrown in. Actually, HE was the best athlete we've had at quarterback.
Interesting point at the end. The only thing I would add is that they were brought here to play quarterback and for the most part asked to play in the pocket. They might have been very effective qbs at Auburn or Penn St. or even 'Bama. Hurd doesn't throw any better than those guys.
Meyer was still in charge in 2010 when we had Reed, Burton and 3rd and long Brantley as our offense.
He was athletic somewhat for a QB and had some nice straight ahead speed but I am trying to think who we had at QB since Tebow less athletic than Grier. Brantley and the 2 this year. Brissett I would call even at least watching him move around at NC State. Murphy, Trey Burton and the TE etc were definitely more athletic back there.
Really? Just like Driskell wasn't as athletic as Grier.
Nobody is as athletic on this roster as Reed and Burton?
No QB on the roster is very athletic. In case you didn't watch last nights game, both QBs made significant plays with their legs.
I might believe that's the case with Reed. Dude is a freak. Burton is a step down, but he is an NFL tight end who made some plays this year.
