Since Jimbo is going to LSU, who will be the next FSU Head Coach?

Jimbo apparently rebuffed LSU again. That's why they're suddenly "close to a deal" with Tom Herman.
LSU should stick with Orgeron and just hire a good OC.

They're going to stick with O. And they'll fire him in 2 seasons and make another desperate play for Jimbo.
That might be good for the rest of the SEC, but it would be bad for LSU.

I've been following it on the lsu boards. It's pretty hilarious. They are going to lynch the AD if they dont end up with Herman or Jimbo.
Herman getting blown out today may be a good sign for them though. Of course it could be Texas but they still have a coach.

Herman to Texas and Fisher to LSU just makes logical sense, but you never know what will happen with these coaches.

We're not giving him more money. He wants Academic Center for football team which they are getting now after six figure donation this week and he wants ability to hire 3-4 more support staff to get to about 15 which is still half of what Bama has. We will meet those demands but a raise won't happen.

Houston CAN play defense, they dominated Louisville.
Memphis had several games where that played good defense as well, but overall they struggled.
Norvell is very young, and it is likely a blue blood will want to see a few years worth of success. The playmakers on Memphis were recruited by Fuente, although Norvell did better recruiting. Look for Memphis to be a real non P5 player next season. And should they have a 10-2 type season, Norvell will be hard to keep. There will be bigger jobs every year.

LSUs AD is clueless. He's not a good AD. Who knows what's going to happen with the LSU coaching search but Alleva is close to getting himself fired at LSU as it is.
