The whole McCarthy thing is kind of baffling to me. There is always internal infighting in both camps. But this seems to have gone beyond personal differences. Democrats seem to believe McCarthy is "one of them". I think that is quite delusional on their part. 😂

Boebert just went in dry. Apparently she got him 218 if he'd agree to bring to a vote:
1) Term limits
2) Border Wall
3) Balanced budget amendment
McCarthy told her to pound sand.
She also dismissed MTG's comment that she took nearly $2MM from McCarthy to win her race. She said she didn't get a dime.
Term Limits? Didn't the SC already tell the states you cant do that with US congessman without amending the constitution?

You need 2/3rds house and senate to send it to the states for ratification. Its not going to pass but it puts people on record.
COS is a better idea and its been slow rolling for years. You need 34 states to convene and 38 to pass any amendment.
Also it starts the discussion and educates people on what needs to be done. Last poll I saw was that 80% of the people want term limits. Most have no clue on how it could/would be done.
Constitutional amendments scare the eff out of me. Florida is a MAGA red state, save the dipshit urban rat areas (and commie state school counties), and we have some utterly retarded voter referendum constitutional amendments hit the ballot ever so many years. The signature bar to get on the ballot is extremely low and quite fraudulent, frankly. We are a constitutional republic, even on the state level. There's a reason the retarded sheep don't need to be voting directly on ANY damned thing.
