Reminds me of a very interesting story that happened in 2016. My dealer was an INCREDIBLE man...smart, GREAT to his people, and was political in a sense that his beliefs were mostly tuned to how it effected his business. NO ONE really was not a little surprised when Trump won in 2016. I stayed up until 4AM watching the meltdowns on all the lib channels. Had to be at work at 8:30am. when I arrived, he was standing in the showroom by my desk, and had this chit eating grin on his face. Asked me..."what do you think about that?" I said I believed things were going to get better! He said"yes, we have to prepare for un upswing in business". I have done what I do...where I do it since Reagan was in office. In NO TIME in those years has things turned around economically so fast. Businesses started coming in to replace their work vehicles immediately. I attribute it to consumer confidence. Even when Reagan took over, it was not until 1983 that things started turning around. With Trump...it was within a MONTH. You could tell. I HOPE if he wins that happens this time...however I believe things MAY get worse before they get better. Trump had the biggest, fastest economy shift I have ever witnessed in my retail job...and second place is not even close.
