Not sure this is the proper forum - but I’m selling 20 1888 .2334 Oz gold Argentine coins. My wife & I have had them for a while & one of our girls is graduating, so we think it is a good time to liquidate them.

Do any of you have a reliable contact?!?!

Thank you!

I really don't. Keeping this thread bumped. Will inherit a bunch of English sovereigns at some point myself. Will be looking into private buyers or honest pawn brokers who will pay cash with no questions asked and receipts. FJB!! 😂

Thanks - I think they are probably worth about $550 each. Not sure how to sell ‘em.

Assuming they have no numismatic value to them then you might want to at least check out somebody that deals in gold bullion.
Seeing as how they were minted in 1888 that may give them some numismatic value on top of their gold content.
You'll probably get short changed a bit if you sell them for gold content but at least you'll have cash.
I'd search out a coin shop that specializes in foreign gold, preferably South American gold coins.

Go to coinquest.com to find their value. If they are in good shape they are probably worth ~$300 a piece maybe more. I would put them on EBAY with a reserve and let it fly. You can also try JMBullion or other sites that buy coins.
