The Ripley (WV) Hunnington Prep was a four-star recruit out of high school but has played sparingly at UF, appearing in just 6 games for the Gators and recorded just 3.8 per games in his appearances. He committed to the Gators as a prospect in the 2017 recruiting class over 23 other offers.

2018-19 Pre-season: Sophomore Chase Johnson had an early season concussion that kept him from playing most of the 2017-18 season. White said that Chase has looked “terrific” and should be ready to go this season.

Instead, he played just 12 minutes this season for the Gators playing in only 2 games and recorded only 6 points and shot a .750 shooting percentage. He was also dealing with an early season concussion again that kept him from seeing the court as well this season.

I for one was really pulling for IU to get in. My gf is from Indiana and it would have made her very happy if they got in. Good things happen when she is happy.
