The S.E.C. has won 21 National Titles in the last 20 years in the sports of Football, Baseball and Basketball. The schools WHO HAVE NOT CONTRIBUTED TO THIS are:

Georgia — chirp, chirp, chirp?
The Mississippi’s,
Arkansas
and the Newcomers A&M and Mizzou.

So, until you actually win something that means something, SHUT THE HELL UP
Bulldawg fairweather fans.

Why haven't any dawg fans flocked to this thread? Surely one of them out there will thump their chest about all their titles in the 30's and 40's

I know where you got this. Funny thing is he left Tennessee off in error.
Enjoy this while you can.

Alabama has 27 total national titles, 17 of them in football.
Tennessee has 23 total, 8 of them in women;s basketball.
Auburn has 16 total, 8 of them in men's swimming & diving.
Texas A&M has 13 NCAA national titles.
LSU has 43 NCAA national titles, but 25 of those are in women's track & field. 6 in baseball.
Arkansas has 46 NCAA titles, but many of them were won before joining the SEC. 30 of the total were in men's track & field, 11 more is men's cross country. Their only title in a major 3 sport is their 1994 men's basketball championship.

Dawgs have 45 total.

UF Men have 8 Sports, with 7 of them having won a NC

UF Women have 11 Sports, with 7 of them having won a NC

Nobody else in the SEC is even close to that kind of all around balance.

The Wikipedia site says 44, but I did omit them from my list as I had previously posted the link to Georgia's titles earlier. But here it is again:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Georgia_Bulldogs_and_Lady_Bulldogs_championships

6 of those national titles are in Equestrian, which only has 16 D1 schools competing. Kind of dubious to include those, but they're there. 10 are in gymnastics, 8 in men's tennis, 6 women's tennis, 7 in women's swimming & diving.

How many SEC schools besides UF have won a NC in the Men's Big 3?
Football - Basketball - Baseball o_O

Sagarin and the NY Tines, among several others, listed UF as NC's in the 80's, so if UGly gets to claim 42, then the Gators have 5 NC's instead of 3.

And 25 of ours have come in the last 19 years. No other SEC school comes close to that either.

We don't chirp, we bark, sniff butts, lick balls, and hump legs.

43. Georgia has ONE football title. 1980. 1942 Ohio State won the AP title, and there was no UPI poll then. Likenhous and Billingsley titles do not count.
Ohio st was awarded that at the end of the regular season and then sat out a bowl game. Dawgs went to the Rose Bowl and won. Georgia has every bit the claim to it as the buckeyes.

No, they don't. The rules at the time were that bowls were exhibitions. Should the Patriots miss the playoffs if they go 0-4 in the preseason? No, because exhibitions DO NOT COUNT.

Sorry, you fail.

Did you want us to say Georgia is a women's tennis school?

Fine. Georgia is a women's tennis school. Happy now?
Then don’t lecture us how Mark Richt would have been in the playoffs because there were none.

Yeh, totally the same thing. You’re claiming a national title based on current criteria, placing it in your stadium and official correspondence. There are no playoff banners with Richt’s name on it. But simply pointing out that Richt and Kirby in their first three years is pretty much identical with being in the top four at the end of the regular season and SEC title. Nice try though.

I have not seen anyone do this. But I do have Insta blocked, so...

And I can't thank you enough for that, little panty-waste Lizzy-wuss.. :p

While you won't see that others will, and they should at least get a chuckle at your expense... :D
