I get pretty much all the conferences sports with Dish Network.

What I notice is huge differences from the SEC Channel compared to the other ones. Example the SEC may show what they call a Classic Football game and it appears their meaning of classic is football games from just a few years ago. But whenever the Long Horn Network shows a Classic Game it’s a real Classic Football game from the 80s and 90s.

How come the SEC Channel won’t show more games from the 80s and even the 90s.

It gets old and boring watching these latest games while other channels shows some great game.

I know this is not an SEC Chanbel forum but I’m just asking hoping someone will chime on why they believe they do this.

I don't watch the old games much but I remember seeing some old classics for a time on there. Not sure if they go heavy on old stuff for a while and then show mostly more recent stuff for a time.

Love a college game from the ‘80s, particularly if they don’t tell you who won, which they almost always do. I agree as far as the SEC network. How great would it be to see an Emmit Smith game, or Herschel Walker?

Watching SEC Network for the football is like reading playboy for the articles...

There is only one real reason to tune into SEC Network...
