I had a feeling the refs would cheat for Vandy since we are playing in that town but we can't hit a 3 pt shot tonight.
Where is this Vandy beat down we were promised?
Hill was fouled on that last drive before OT. Nice comeback to force OT. Can't believe how bad we've shot the ball tonight. Maybe the guys will pull out the win.

For all the "experience" this team has, they sure play DUMB!! For the really good season they've had, the 2 Vandy games caused me to just lose interest in watching them anymore. I'm back to our old football mantra before Spurrier - Wait Til Next year. Bye bye from this poster on BB this year!!
Mike White saves his worst coaching for Vandy. We should have pressed all 40 minutes. Also not sure why Cheese was in there for the entire overtime. He is slow to react against vandy.

That was a real clutch dive on his face from a SENIOR guard there in OT, after the Brick 3 before it. He blew the game 3 straight possessions, and you know whos fault it is he was even out there after countless chokes over 4 years?

Mike White is not a late season coach. Two seasons now that his team has faded down the stretch. Same where he coached before.
If you blame that game on Kasey Hill, you should stop watching basketball. Just read the paper. You have no idea what you're looking at. Difference in the game was that they had three guys who can make shots. We have one. Ballgame. Also, the refs were terrible.

You guys are comical at this point. We shot 34 percent from the field. 26 percent from three. Hill and Allen were the only ones scoring. MJ Was probably blaming Hayes' missed alley oop on Hill. As I've said for two years, this team's weakness is they can't hit shots. Without Egbunu, they can't play the defense to make up for it. Could still win some games in the tourney though if Allen gets hot and Barry shows up.
Then stop letting kasey touch the ball when it's important, because no matter what else has taken place before in the game, when it's nut cutting time... The world sees him falling on his god damn face and bricking lay ups. He's terrible, no matter how average everyone else is around him. A senior being that bad in big situations EVERY single time, is pathetic and gives you zero chance in a tournament. He's the exact same kid i saw three years ago scared to death of the moment and out of control. Im not surprised in the least with anything i saw happen and called the end to a T, every real Gator fan knew there was no chance in hell they were scoring to win at the end of the game. We are about 4% success rate doing that and about 95% of that rate is from mike millers lay up 17 years ago. Florida is the university of un clutch in any close game and find new ways to lose every season...
The fouls and foul shots were about even, but I thought the refs missed some blatantly obvious calls. In the first half, Leon got called for blocking on one of the more obvious push offs I've seen. It was so bad, it made me nervous that it was going to be a long night. I thought they missed a bunch of shooting fouls at the rim. Gators were being pretty aggressive in getting the ball in the paint, but getting no love. Hill got obviously hit on the last play.
But we were lucky to be in the game at the end, because we could not hit anything. Hayes was dominated, Leon was bad and Barry was 0-3 for the game. We might need to play Stone more to get some offense out there. He turns it over but he can hit shots down low or outside.

Hill wasnt the problem. Hill played fairly well. Hayes and Canyon combined for what, 2 points? DRob played poorly too. Bottom line is Mike White is 0-5 against vandy.
No I mean like the funny pages. You'll process about the same amount of basketball doing that.
Drob was bad offensively, but at least he was being aggressive and rebounding. The drop off from Egbunu to Hayes is probably our biggest problem. Barry was 0-3 from the field (wtf!?). White definitely seems vexed by Vandy. They just rip his defense up, although some of those shots look crazy when they go up. I knew he was scrambling last game when he switched to zone defense. I don't think I've seen five minutes of zone in two years otherwise.

I think we needed to win the tourney for a 3 seed due to not having many big wins like some other teams but it wouldn't surprise me much if we remained a 4 seed with this loss looking at the other teams. If Arkansas was to beat Vandy and get into the RPI top 25 that would make our resume look a little better also. Its probably pretty certain we are either a 4 or 5 seed in the East I would think but Lunardi has us a 5 seed in Orlando but in the West now.
