Roundball Tourney Thread

You retarded little worm. Ask any mod, the owner, no reporting from me. You peed in your bed, and you woke up wet. 😂

Final talley of Sweet 16 by conference:
SEC - 7 (yes, that is a record)
B10 - 4
B12 - 4
ACC - 1
By percentage, the SEC got 50% of their tournament teams to the Sweet 16. The Big 10, also, got 50% of their tournament teams to the Sweet 16. The ACC only got 25% of their teams that far. But the winner is the Big 12, who got 4 of their 7 tournament teams to the Sweet 16 - that's 57%. The SEC has more of the high seeds, for sure, but it will be interesting to see who actually makes it to the Final 4 and then the title game.

Here's the question I have? What happens to Florida if they play a game and get down 10,12,14 in the first half? We seem to swarm in the second half but just hover around in the first half. The teams are gonna get harder but we dont seem to get better in a complete game. Too many turnovers and stupid fouls. It could catch up somewhere down the road.

This team is an enigma, they played bad again and then scored 47 points in the 2nd half and won by 16 with seventeen turnovers.. We need a complete game, hell if we even get one close to it we could shatter someone fast.. We haven't played a good game yet in this tournament, that just shows you how good they really are.. We need the SEC Tournament form back now

Arkansas scares me. They have the size and the talent to complete with Florida. Injuries have hurt them this year, but they are at full strength now. Pulling for Texas Tech to pull it out the 2nd half.

Great comeback by Texas Tech to take out Arkansas in OT. I actually think this helps Florida because I think Arkansas' size would have given UF trouble. I think we beat TT fairly easily.
Arizona hung with Dkue, but the game was never in doubt, IMO. Duke's defense, size and depth will give Alabama trouble.

I thought going in TT might be our biggest threat in the region but wasn't really thinking about Arkansas having those players back. Hopefully Condon's ankle holds up for this game.

Can you believe how Calipari choked that game away. Up 13 with 4 minutes, Up 7 with 1:11, up 3 with 10 seconds and can’t get a stop. Go to OT and lose.

This has been the scenario of a Calipari team for years now. He did this at Kentucky and has now brought it to Arkansas. Now I can understand why Calipari's welcome in Lexington was over. Last nights game was a carbon copy of his coaching style at UK. Get a nice lead and go into grind gear. Grinding will get you beat against a good team.

Watching that game was like watching a rerun of Kentucky the last five years of Calipari. He gets a nice lead, puts on the brakes and goes into his grind/stall and is hanging on at the end. This was shades of UK since 2015.
And he no longer has 5 one and dones each year to blame.

How does a team like MD that hasn't lost by more than 6 points all season but loses by 16? Those insane turnovers are curable. As for the free throws, Condon and Chinlyeu have some work to do in the offseason.
