I had a chance to catch up Rivals250 running back Elijah Holyfield tonight to chat about his recent visit to Notre Dame, but he told me a bit of news that would be of interest to the Florida faithful.
Holyfield said he will narrow his list down to five after spring practice, but listed three programs as those that will "for sure" be getting official visits in the fall and he has the Gators on that list.
Based on the information I have today, I think Florida, Auburn and Tennessee are in his top tier, with Notre Dame, USC and Oregon in the next tier. Obviously there's a long way to go here, but that gives you an idea of where things stand today.
