Report: Elon has agreed to buy Twitter

No. Catturd is bringing the heat, but this time everyone is seeing it. Olbermann is a known commie. No surprise there. This is what needs to happen. Let the battle begin! Texas Cage Match!!! It won't end well for the snowflakes. They can't compete.

And she's completely wrong about that. Same thing happened to my account a couple of days ago. Notification tab went empty. after an hour or so they all came back.

But she videos herself in an apartment eating chicken and popcorn and drinking $8 box wine and the sheep think she's 'one of them'. @bradleygator still thinks she's oh so dreamy.

Bad news @BSC911, she's passing @Sunburnt Indian's MENSA test before you are.

Lets not proclaim Musk a hero just yet. I want to see who is on his Board of Directors. He''s promised that 'all viewpoints will be represented.

Does that include at least one true conservative, or a George Bush conservative?

It will definitely be someone from the middle right at best.

If the fascists censorship ceases from here forward, I'll call it a win and move on.

What she means to say is that her twitter is finally running properly and instead of shielding her from mean tweets, the mean tweets are starting to come through.

She should cross reference her last town hall where she was screamed at for being, coincidentally, a cat turd during her duration in DC.

New York trusted a bartender to represent them, a bartender is what they got. New York has some truly stupid voters.

Here we go. Twitter will improve but not truly be neutral I guess. He would have been better off not even saying that as it will just make the left try more dirty tricks.

Actually, he's calling them out for their bullshit. Good for him.

Yep but even mentioning that mess tells me the moderation will still be unfair. Not the total censorship it was but nothing close to parity. He left too many of those hard core leftists in charge of it.

He can’t fire everyone all at once. He still needs people there to run the day to day operation of twitter

A couple of weeks ago, Yahoo ran an article that Musk was going to fire 75% of their work force. In the comments, someone asked what were the remaining 25% going to do. I replied, train the other 75%, and eventually the replacements for their jobs too. 😂

I'm betting the 'ban America First viewpoints' wing of the content moderation dept could stand to see some losses.

Poor fever. Good grief.

Are you saying those aren't lefties mostly on that group? Just saying I think at the end we get change but not a neutral moderated platform. Things like bannings for Vaccination claims and talking about something like Hunter's laptop shouldnt happen any longer though.

So there's this kid I follow on social media. I say 'kid', but he's like 35 or so, but I'd been following him on Twitter since he was probably 22 or so. Smart kid, funny, never really tweeted about politics, but just enough of a remark here and there to let you know he's a lib. But usually just tweeting funny jokes and stuff that had nothing to do with politics.

Well today he posts on Facebook that he deleted his Twitter account. He said he had to do it, the final straw was Musk firing half Twitter's staff. Tirade about Musk being a horrible human being with no heart, etc etc.

A couple of points:

1 - I did some checking, apparently the employees that were 'canned' today, won't actually be fired till February. But they will no longer work for Twitter, but Twitter will continue to pay them. Basically, Musk is paying them to sit at home for the next 3 months. Additionally, every lib business owner on Twitter will be tripping over themselves to try to hire these guys to 'stick it to Musk'. I mean if I had been 'fired' today, I would have immediately tweeted it out, said I was scared, confused, felt betrayed. Would likely have multiple 6-figure job offers by lunch, and likely multiple offers to stay anywhere I wanted for as long as I needed.

2 - But this is the one that gets me....These same people like my buddy that are so upset he deleted his decade-plus old Twitter account, but he seemed to have ZERO issue with conservatives being deleted off the site for the last 2+ years for no reason other than expressing an opinion that the 'woke' content moderation team didn't like. THAT blows my mind.

And again, this guy is as nice as they come, funny and smart as a whip. Anyone would like to hang out with him.

But add politics over it, and he becomes a self-centered asshole like every other Dem.
