December 24, 2022 - UPDATE - I love this time of year. Being able to look back at the overall Big Board and see where are all the players ended up going - Does it show we are going after the very best players or are the evaluations off? I think I have everyone update at this time.
December 18th, 2022 - UPDATE - Caden Jones will make his decision either this week or next with a public announcement scheduled for January 7th. He had a great trip with the Aggies and really bonded with the players and recruits. Florida will continue to work the situation but too many variables at play for me to keep him in the RedZone. Earlier in the week, I said if Fletcher makes the Miami OV I will remove him from the RedZone so I am doing that because of his OV. We will figure out what’s what in the next 48-72 hours. Buckle up!
December 14th, 2022 - UPDATE - Class is now back to 22 - I have removed WR Tyree Patterson from the commit list. This is what is best for UF just know that.
December 11, 2022 - UPDATE - Added a new RedZone member, DT Caleb Banks - Now that Banks announces his intentions to be a Gator lets push the RedZone to its limits and add in Samson and Caden Jones. Maybe its the meds talking haha....
December 6th, 2022 - UPDATE - I have added a TE to the mix, Jaden Platt who will make his OV this weekend with his mom and dad, Stephanie & Julian. He is very fired up about this trip. I know UF will knock the OV out of the park putting the Gators squarely in the mix. How do I know that? Simple - I know what he is looking forward to on his OV which includes: "I'm looking forward to seeing the campus in person, and seeing what education they have to offer as well as meeting Coach Napier and seeing his philosophy." Remember - he is a Stanford verbal so education IS important and we will have that and the rest of his trip covered. Platt was previously listed on our MLL but now emerges as a real contender for the Gators & Peagler. They love this kid and feel he is exactly what they are looking for at TE
November 20, 2022 - UPDATE - Florida and Marcus Stokes have parted ways. We are back to 22 kids so far in this class.
November 16, 2022 - UPDATE: Putting this at the top because a few have asked about it. My guy I told you guys about last week that I wanted to put in the RedZone (Commit to another school) is going to happen I am being told - you will see him bounce from his current class fairly soon they tell me. As far as actual date though not 100% sure on that but seems like any day now. After that, he already has UF OV set so not sure if he will commit prior to his UF OV or on or after that trip but we look great with this deal right now. Lottery number guy - no so much. You win some you lose some. just for me personally - that one will not hurt my feelings but would have been a nice perception thing for the class I think. Also, I am pretty sure that one will not hurt your feelings either. Could it change? Sure - but not sure it will let's call that a fluctuating situation kind of thing.
November 11th, 2022 - UPDATE: I want to put a kid currently public to another school in the RedZone SOOOO badly I can't take it, BUT I fear what it would do creating a witch hunt with the kid/family and his current school/situation so I will not move him into the RedZone. I have moved a couple OL above the Dindy Line as you will see and one linebacker also above the Dindy line. I think the most action we could see in the future will be on the OL position which is fantastic.
October 19th, 2022 - UPDATE: I made some of the position groups smaller so we can start to focus on a select few at each position. I did NOT include the entire Big Board just so everyone knows.
October 18th, 2022 - UPDATE - Just some minor house keeping today with removing Creed from the Gator commit list. I want to so badly add another player into the RedZone, however, there is only room in the RedZone for one kid at a time committed to another program.
October 13th, 2022 - UPDATE - I love it when a plan comes together and right now the RedZone is ON FIRE!! I hope we can keep it up. Moving DiDi and Bryce from the RedZone to the Commit list bringing our total to 22 verbal commitments.
October 10th, 2022 - UPDATE - We have multiple and I do mean multiple people working this one VERY hard, including a guy I think is one of the best recruiters in America, Coach Sean Spencer. I think we get this one done. Adding Kayden McDonald to the RedZone.
September 6th, 2022- UPDATE - I do not normally put kids into the RedZone while they are public commits to other schools. However, in this case the smoke is real and continues to grow by simply following his actions. OL Roderick Kearney who was in town last weekend with close friend Brian Green Jr will return again this weekend to spend more time with both OL coaches and a number of UF commits. He enters the RedZone.
August 24th, 2022 - UPDATE - I would not be shocked to see DiDi Johnson end up at about three different schools honestly - so this begs the question why add him into the RedZone? The reason is simple - the powers that be feel great on this one. I have also added in Bryce Thornton. This one is tricky. He will not be at the game as we host Utah - his OV is October 21st and then he will make his announcement. I know UF loves that kid and what he brings to the table I just can't see a scenario of the Gators taking "AND" signing seven DBs - this one might come down to the timing of the three DBs sitting in the RedZone.
August 21st, 2022 - UPDATE - Couple of updates this morning. We have added Defensive Tackle Xzavier McCleod to the South Carolina Verbal Commitment list. Nice pick up for Carolina. DT Kayden McDonald (Most Important Recruit Left IMO) will make his college announcement October 31st, 2022. Unfortunately, Kayden will not be in the Swamp Week One as Florida will host Utah.

August 13th, 2022- UPDATE - The staff extended an offer to a defensive back. A safety named Ahman Covington, 6-foot-2, 203-Pounds from Starke (FL) Bradford High School. New name, Rivals has him listed with two offers - Coastal Carolina and now the Gators. Once we get through this Collins announcement today at 3:0-0 PM I will throw some quotes up from Covington. I think coach Napier and the staff is building a great program the whole staff is very active with the players and recruits but the that impressed me the most is they take the word “character” very seriously. The offer means a lot to me and my family being that my mother has pushed me very hard and she always tells me to work for what you want and God will do the rest u I haven’t visited UF yet but I plan on taking one soon I’m looking forward to knowing more about the culture and meeting more of the coaching staff

August 8th, 2022 - UPDATE - Florida is set for another big week in recruiting adding four more players to a class that already includes 16-verbal commitments. Two players with public scheduled dates for announcements are DLs Kelby Collins/Kamran James. Collins should make his announcement on Saturday while James should go on Sunday. Remember, these are "scheduled" announcements. It does not mean a thing until they actually follow through and make the pledge. We know that James will be back in Gainesville week one as the Gators host Utah. Two other players should make announcements soon, but they have not given any indication publicly when those will be. One should be this week - the other next week. Again, the key word I continue to use is "Should." None of this means a thing until they actually announce. The other two players are not in the RedZone and they will not be added. When they announce I will tell you why I could not add them into our RedZone prior to announcing. RedZone has been great recently - hope that trend continues for us. James has been in the RedZone since April.
August 5th, 2022 - UPDATE - LB Derion Gullette Texas Verbal is not a loss because we never had real traction with him BUT he is another LB off the Big Board. I mean what some of these teams are doing at ILB is nuts to me. We are going to need a flip down the stretch in my mind to make this thing work.
August 2nd, 2022 - UPDATE - I have decided to add Kelby Collins into our RedZone - With each addition of a top tier player it is a bit nerve racking though. It almost feels like as one man enters another needs to leave but so far, the RZ has treated us very nicely. I think with Collins coming back to UF for FNL that was a big big deal for the staff. I think it was also a big he did not visit Alabama last week. He is fresh off the UF visit you can see what he had to say (pinned in boards) and now is saying he will announce before the season starts and all of it appears to be a good sign for UF. My issue with this move? UF has three DL right now BUT one probably ends up at OLB but we have not even talked about DT Kayden McDonald and you know as well as I do you never land everyone you think you are going to land - or will we? Either way things are super exciting right now when you think about Florida recruiting - I think we can ALL agree on that. August 1st, 2022- UPDATE - Just added "The Board is Shrinking," which might make it a tad bit easier to follow as things are getting REAL tight with spots. I do not feel great on Jordan Hall despite the way some feel so decided to remove from the RZ.
July 30th, 2022 - UPDATE - Man, we can't hit at 100%, no one can BUT when the RedZone runs hot it runs HOT. Glad these are all working out. I am jumping back in the car heading home. I might need to make a slight adjustment to the RZ in the next few days i am double checking on one of the recruits and will see....
July 28th, 2022 - UPDATE - I am expecting to see 4-5 kids announce for UF this weekend - I am adding Dijon Johnson into our RedZone and with soooo much activity I am going to drop Sorey back to the MLL list as someone to keep an eye on but remove from the RZ at this time.
July 26th, 2022 - UPDATE: Canes look like they have outbid every other team in play for Malik Bryant. My pick tomorrow for him will be Miami unless something drastic changes over night which I do not expect to see happen with the way the NIL game has been played so far.
July 19th, 2022 - UPDATE - Quick update - arrived in Austin yesterday, took my wife and oldest son two and a half days to drive out here. I got the better end of that deal. We are out here until Saturday - Sunday 5am head to Hoover to catch the end of our youngest PG tourney - home a week from today. Thank you all for being patient while I am getting all this taken care of. I will arrive at UF around 2pm on Thursday end of next week for FNL. Hope to see you all there - swing by the Hilton if you have time. THE DL in the RedZone are listed in the order I have been told we have the best shot at. The guys with dates planned are all grouped at the bottom of that list it just so happens Walker should be 4th on our list of those DL right now which is nuts to me bc he has visited UF so many times and they feel great. However, another team also feels good with Walker - OSU. Something to keep an eye on and see if more smoke starts up as we inch closer to the announcement date. Will those guys with those end of month announcement dates show up for FNL or the BBQ? SO many of our questions will be answered shortly and I can't wait to see who was right about these dudes.
July 14th, 2022 UPDATE - I have removed Malik Bryant out of the RedZone. Never should have listened to a few and added him to begin with. Some of the things that people felt would help UF are actually working against us. The Miami "Culture" who most say (parents) they don't want kids distracted by the Miami night life is something that is helping the Canes. I know Miami will match whatever UF offered (not my opinion) and the crazy thing is when Miami went to watch Miami practice they were not blown away. They got the No 1 ILB they wanted - Raul Aguirre. Bryant will be a bonus for them if things remain the same. Combination of Charlie Strong/Ray Lewis very appealing for Malik. Saying all of this some of the closest people around this situation say he is torn and this is 50/50. I have decided I will treat Miami like Alabama/Georgia. Florida is going to have to "show" me they can beat Miami for players they truly want. One more note - A player currently committed to another school will not make his way into the RedZone. Sorey is waiting for the Green Light but we have a lot of things going on right now.
July 8th, 2022 - UPDATE: I went ahead and added Sorey to our RZ list. Too much smoke on this deal for me to ignore even though pushing back his previously scheduled announcement earlier in the week is a little concerning. I think he will attend FNL and not sure he waits that long to announce. If he does not attend that weekend clearly I have misread the situation. Wilson should be very soon. Went ahead and added Aidan Mizell in the RZ.
July 7th, 2022 - UDPATE - Marcus Stokes - Now you all see why I was not in a position to give his name out. UF has been working this deal pretty hard for a good bit. They have been working big-time behind the scenes and when things like this are going on there is no way I can say oh yeah that Penn State QB commit is the one they are trying to flip as you see how quickly this went down. There are times when they say do not say a word and I do not say a word to anyone. They have been very impressed with some film of Stokes and feel this is a big big get for them in the QB room.
July 5th, 2022 - UPDATE: Wanted to talk about DL Derrick LeBlanc for a quick moment. I mentioned a while back OU was the tea to keep an eye on - you never worry about the team leading (UF in this case) but the team no one is talking about and that has been OU for the longest time up until a few weeks ago this thing was catching fire. I fear everything I was told back then was true or will end up being true and right now looks like OU. He has been up to see UF double digit times and every single question he or his family could possibly come up with has been answered and then some by the current staff. Florida will keep recruiting him no matter what. DL Jordan Hall from what I understand is good so I will slide him into our RZ and I think right now it is best to move LeBlanc out and see what unfolds. If he picks UF great - if not move on.

July 4th, 2022 - UPDATE - I have moved TJ Searcy from our RedZone to the commit list. TJ makes 9 with the recent departure of OL Tommie Kinsler. Another DL, Keldric Faulk should be making his announcement tomorrow or very soon after. This one is too close for me to call - I think we are down to the wire on him with a coin flip. It could go either way. It feels like Florida, Auburn and Florida State. I like that Toney, Peterson, and Spencer are all recruiting him for the Gators. That three headed monster is going to be tough to beat on the trail - even if this one does not fall our way. Faulk is comfortable with the "Jack" position and maybe that will be enough to win him over....
July 3d, 2022 - UPDATE - Things still appear to be on track for DL TJ Searcy to make his announcement Monday July 4th. I hate even talking about "dates," because they seem to change last minute all the time so we will see what unfolds Monday. Perfect example - WR Daquayvious Sorey was going to announce his intentions to play for the Gators (IMO) - then pushed his decision back and now we have to wait and see what happens with him. He should be considered an ATH and could end up at WR or DB at the next level.
June 30th, 2022 - UPDATE - I decided to remove DL Zavion Hardy out of our RedZone and just need to leave it at that for now. I "could" make the case to do the same with Malik Bryant but he remains for the time being. Also, did decide to bring up JaKeem Jackson. 3:15 PM Also - brought T. Webb back into the RZ.
June 27th, 2022 UPDATE - DL Derrick LeBlanc will make his announcement July 28th now per his Twitter account.
Florida feels great with DL and if they don't get this kid I won't know what to say about the recruiting process moving forward. I would not expect to see Treyaun Webb announce until maybe the first week or shortly after in July. UF is feeling they are right where they need to be with Webb. Both Webb & Baxter to me are concerning and the sooner they can get one of them in the boat the better.
June 23rd, 2022- UPDATE - Tony Mitchell named his top four and the Gators were not in the mix. Tony, as I have stated numerous times is a S at the next level in my opinion - he wants to play CB. He was in the RZ because he told me to put him in the RZ which is a dead giveaway he was not going to be a Gator - but what can you do.

June 19th, 2022 - UPDATE - I have moved Grayson "PUP" Howard into our RedZone which is quickly turning into more of a Mock Class than a heads up on kids pulling the trigger. Again, the key thing to remember right now is this: DL RedZone Members - looking at "each one" yes UF out front BUT as soon as one pops it will impact the others on this list and then it will need to be evaluated again. I might be taking a bit of a chance with Howard, but this trip showed me a lot and do not be surprised to see him back over the next week or so. Should I have waited to see if that trip happens? Maybe, and I know he likes a bunch of other teams including the Gamecocks, but his actions are starting to show me something else. Keep an eye on Troy Bowles to visit Monday by the way.

June 6th, 2022 - UPDATE - Based on things I was told throughout the weekend I think moving Jordan Castell into our RZ is the right move. Also, Rashada has been upgraded.
June 1st, 2022 - UPDATE - I have added ATH Kaveion Keys as a POI and possible OV with UF from what I was told today. Also, I have upgraded Mizel and Wilson back to Orange Status. There are a few things that are a bit confusing right now BUT those two seem to be the two logical recruits at the WR position at this time. As we mentioned yesterday, Jaden Rashada will indeed make the OV to UF. Two days ago we were told June 7th - 9th. Jadens father was going back and forth with Napier at that time and all that was left to do was the UF staff meet regarding the trip and set it up for that period of time. Again, the family is telling Napier UF is in better shape than what people believe. We will see. That would put them at UF arriving Tuesday leaving Thursday. Once again, Red Carpet Treatment
May 27th, 2022 - UPDATE - I added two more OV's for the month of June. Tomarrion Parker told me June 3rd and Peter Woods June 9th.
3:15PM UPDATE: Seems to be a lot of flip flopping back and forth with Webb and UF/Texas A&M and Cedric Baxter. One thing seems clear - UF must land one of these guy but no way will they land both. Seems Webb might be leaning with the Aggies and Baxter with the Gators.
May 19th, 2022 - UPDATE - I will post a "Whispers in the Hall" that will explain moves today other than removing both Eugene Wilson & Aidan Mizell who will visit Tennessee very soon. This move is not because I have been told bad intel or bad stuff on either but with two WR's in the boat right now I think we could see UF slow down at this position.
May 16th, 2022 - UPDATE - Gators Land important piece of the puzzle as Bryce Lovett has joined the Gator Nation.
May 12th, 2022 - UPDATE - I am adding another RB to the Big Board by the name of Parker Jenkins. Love this kids ability running/catching etc. He can do it all. LSU, Northwestern, Oklahoma State, and Houston are the main teams coming at him right now. Florida will take two RB's this cycle and he would be a great one to have imo. Working on setting up a visit to UF. Will post a story on him this morning.........12:25 PM UPDATE I also updated DE TJ Searcy to Orange status...which means someone to keep a close eye on. Added ATH Ahmad Brown, another kid from Georgia UF decided to offer...and of the CB's in the RZ in this order this is how I feel. Cormani way out in front then Tony Mitchell (based on our conversations) and then AJ Harris. I think too many crazy factors are going to be in play for him BUT UF feels good so we will see how that one unfolds....
May 4th, 2022 - UPDATE - We have 15 players sitting in our RedZone. We know Florida is "NOT" going to land four CB's Gates, Harris, Mitchell, McClain - no fan or coach on earth believes on NSD you show up with those four players in the class. The issue? Right now - I am told they feel great on each of those players. As soon as one of them pops (if its UF) you will see one of the other two drop down on their end with interest imo. I think the best possible scenario would be you hold Gates and add McClain - then one of the other two. Gates needs to take his OV's over the Summer if that is what he wants to do fyi. I added Peter Woods to the official visit list and for some strange reason Creed was not in our RZ so we made that move today with his announcement Saturday at 1:00 PM. Every decision maker possible says they feel great with the younger Whittemore. We have 11 kids with OV dates - Three of them are *** and the other eight are ****
April 29th, 2022 - UPDATE - A couple of Notes on this fine Friday. I posted and pinned so no one would miss it but WR Ricky Pearsall arrives at 3:45PM today with his mother, father, and stepmom. He is VERY fired up about this UF visit. Has been in contact with AR15 and his family will go out to dinner with AR15 this evening - the two will spend a lot of time together. Ricky watched the Spring game and loved what he saw from AR15 - Ricky told me he likes AR's game. Also, the going rate or starting rate I should say from Miami for Portal/Transfer players is 100K, Starting rate and throw in a brand new Caddy just for kicks. Couple guys on the RZ that UF feels GREAT about, but I wonder if one or two of them don't get passed up down the road. Either way the time is now to add the fan favorite CB into our RedZone - Cormani McClain. I have different levels of confidence even within the RZ. If I went with just the ones I felt THE absolute most confidence in we might only have 8 in the RZ vs 13. But those other five they still feel very strongly with at this time....
April 25th, 2022 - UPDATE - I added another POI to our RB list. UF is going to check him out today. His name is Isaiah Augustave from Naples, good size right now around 6-foot-1, 190-pounds.
April 24th, 2022 - UPDATE - I am removing Maryland DL transfer D. Jackson. I think Miami gets it done from what I am being told on our end right now. Florida and the Defensive coaches are working this situation very hard - so we will see if he makes it out of Miami. Touch and go right now.......

April 21st, 2022 - UPDATE - I did not see this if it was in the board but Florida extended an offer to another TE for the class of 2023, Anthony Miller Jr. Norcross (GA) Duluth High School. April 16th, 2022 - UPDATE - I am adding DT Will Norman into our RedZone. For those of you that know when I put someone in the RedZone the goal is to have three sides of the Information Triangle covered - some have all three, some have two, and in this case Will has one but it is a pretty big one so adding him in and we shall see what unfolds.
April 15th, 2022 - UPDATE - Things just became VERY cloudy at the DE position. After waiting to confirm from a source just now I have moved Kamran James into the RedZone. I have not spoken to him yet so I do not have all three sides of the triangle connected only two but that is good enough for now to move him up. He joins LeBlanc/Hardy in the RedZone at this time. Someone is going to get the squeeze at this position.
April 14th, 2022- UPDATE - Moving OL Bryce Lovett from his Highlighted/MLL position into our RedZone. There is a third I am leaving off the RZ for now I was just told about.
April 13th, 2022 - UPDATE - I added a ton and I mean a TON of visitors for the Spring Game. Mostly the 24's. Left a ton off as well. Huge crowd of recruits scheduled for tomorrow. Couple of the 24 WR's are NICE.
April 12th, 2022 - UPDATE - I have added portal DL Darrell Jackson to our Most Likely List. I spoke to a source who knows exactly the situation with this kid and UF wants to take this kid badly. UPDATED - 11:45 AM I added a few more visitors for the Spring Game - Cormani McClain, Andy Jean, Bryshon Williams, Jacobe Fowler, Genorris Wilson, and Jamar Taylor. Also, added ATH Tamarcus Cooley who landed the UF offer today.

March 17th, 2022 - UPDATE - Today is going to be a big day for Napier and the Gators with DE Derrick LeBlanc scheduled to visit. The Gators will be in full throttle mode today with LeBlanc - Napier, Toney, Spence, and Chaney will roll out the red carpet for LeBLanc. He is a RedZone member and will stay that way unless something drastic happens - With NIL deals we can see things change in a blink of an eye no question, but UF feels great with LeBlanc today.
March 10th, 2022 - UPDATE - There are multiple wheels spinning right now with these visits. A few players I have caught up from this morning include Kedric Faulk, Raylen Wilson, Tray Tolliver, Tyler Jefferson, Jaden Robinson, AJ Hoffler, and Cameron Upshaw - will have those later today. December 24, 2022 - UPDATE - I love this time of year. Being able to look back at the overall Big Board and see where are all the players ended up going - Does it show we are going after the very best players or are the evaluations off? I think I have everyone update at this time.
December 18th, 2022 - UPDATE - Caden Jones will make his decision either this week or next with a public announcement scheduled for January 7th. He had a great trip with the Aggies and really bonded with the players and recruits. Florida will continue to work the situation but too many variables at play for me to keep him in the RedZone. Earlier in the week, I said if Fletcher makes the Miami OV I will remove him from the RedZone so I am doing that because of his OV. We will figure out what’s what in the next 48-72 hours. Buckle up!
December 14th, 2022 - UPDATE - Class is now back to 22 - I have removed WR Tyree Patterson from the commit list. This is what is best for UF just know that.
December 11, 2022 - UPDATE - Added a new RedZone member, DT Caleb Banks - Now that Banks announces his intentions to be a Gator lets push the RedZone to its limits and add in Samson and Caden Jones. Maybe its the meds talking haha....
December 6th, 2022 - UPDATE - I have added a TE to the mix, Jaden Platt who will make his OV this weekend with his mom and dad, Stephanie & Julian. He is very fired up about this trip. I know UF will knock the OV out of the park putting the Gators squarely in the mix. How do I know that? Simple - I know what he is looking forward to on his OV which includes: "I'm looking forward to seeing the campus in person, and seeing what education they have to offer as well as meeting Coach Napier and seeing his philosophy." Remember - he is a Stanford verbal so education IS important and we will have that and the rest of his trip covered. Platt was previously listed on our MLL but now emerges as a real contender for the Gators & Peagler. They love this kid and feel he is exactly what they are looking for at TE

November 16, 2022 - UPDATE: Putting this at the top because a few have asked about it. My guy I told you guys about last week that I wanted to put in the RedZone (Commit to another school) is going to happen I am being told - you will see him bounce from his current class fairly soon they tell me. As far as actual date though not 100% sure on that but seems like any day now. After that, he already has UF OV set so not sure if he will commit prior to his UF OV or on or after that trip but we look great with this deal right now. Lottery number guy - no so much. You win some you lose some. just for me personally - that one will not hurt my feelings but would have been a nice perception thing for the class I think. November 11th, 2022 - UPDATE: I want to put a kid currently public to another school in the RedZone SOOOO badly I can't take it, BUT I fear what it would do creating a witch hunt with the kid/family and his current school/situation so I will not move him into the RedZone. I have moved a couple OL above the Dindy Line as you will see and one linebacker also above the Dindy line. I think the most action we could see in the future will be on the OL position which is fantastic.
October 19th, 2022 - UPDATE: I made some of the position groups smaller so we can start to focus on a select few at each position. I did NOT include the entire Big Board just so everyone knows.
October 18th, 2022 - UPDATE - Just some minor house keeping today with removing Creed from the Gator commit list. I want to so badly add another player into the RedZone, however, there is only room in the RedZone for one kid at a time committed to another program.
October 13th, 2022 - UPDATE - I love it when a plan comes together and right now the RedZone is ON FIRE!! I hope we can keep it up. Moving DiDi and Bryce from the RedZone to the Commit list bringing our total to 22 verbal commitments.
October 10th, 2022 - UPDATE - We have multiple and I do mean multiple people working this one VERY hard, including a guy I think is one of the best recruiters in America, Coach Sean Spencer. I think we get this one done. Adding Kayden McDonald to the RedZone.
September 6th, 2022- UPDATE - I do not normally put kids into the RedZone while they are public commits to other schools. However, in this case the smoke is real and continues to grow by simply following his actions. OL Roderick Kearney who was in town last weekend with close friend Brian Green Jr will return again this weekend to spend more time with both OL coaches and a number of UF commits. He enters the RedZone.
August 24th, 2022 - UPDATE - I would not be shocked to see DiDi Johnson end up at about three different schools honestly - so this begs the question why add him into the RedZone? The reason is simple - the powers that be feel great on this one. I have also added in Bryce Thornton. This one is tricky. He will not be at the game as we host Utah - his OV is October 21st and then he will make his announcement. I know UF loves that kid and what he brings to the table I just can't see a scenario of the Gators taking "AND" signing seven DBs - this one might come down to the timing of the three DBs sitting in the RedZone.
August 21st, 2022 - UPDATE - Couple of updates this morning. We have added Defensive Tackle Xzavier McCleod to the South Carolina Verbal Commitment list. Nice pick up for Carolina. DT Kayden McDonald (Most Important Recruit Left IMO) will make his college announcement October 31st, 2022. Unfortunately, Kayden will not be in the Swamp Week One as Florida will host Utah.

I think coach Napier and the staff is building a great program the whole staff is very active with the players and recruits but the that impressed me the most is they take the word “character” very seriously. The offer means a lot to me and my family being that my mother has pushed me very hard and she always tells me to work for what you want and God will do the rest u I haven’t visited UF yet but I plan on taking one soon I’m looking forward to knowing more about the culture and meeting more of the coaching staff

August 8th, 2022 - UPDATE - Florida is set for another big week in recruiting adding four more players to a class that already includes 16-verbal commitments. Two players with public scheduled dates for announcements are DLs Kelby Collins/Kamran James. Collins should make his announcement on Saturday while James should go on Sunday. Remember, these are "scheduled" announcements. It does not mean a thing until they actually follow through and make the pledge. We know that James will be back in Gainesville week one as the Gators host Utah. Two other players should make announcements soon, but they have not given any indication publicly when those will be. One should be this week - the other next week. Again, the key word I continue to use is "Should." None of this means a thing until they actually announce. The other two players are not in the RedZone and they will not be added. When they announce I will tell you why I could not add them into our RedZone prior to announcing. RedZone has been great recently - hope that trend continues for us. James has been in the RedZone since April.
August 5th, 2022 - UPDATE - LB Derion Gullette Texas Verbal is not a loss because we never had real traction with him BUT he is another LB off the Big Board. I mean what some of these teams are doing at ILB is nuts to me. We are going to need a flip down the stretch in my mind to make this thing work.
August 2nd, 2022 - UPDATE - I have decided to add Kelby Collins into our RedZone - With each addition of a top tier player it is a bit nerve racking though. It almost feels like as one man enters another needs to leave but so far, the RZ has treated us very nicely. I think with Collins coming back to UF for FNL that was a big big deal for the staff. I think it was also a big he did not visit Alabama last week. He is fresh off the UF visit you can see what he had to say (pinned in boards) and now is saying he will announce before the season starts and all of it appears to be a good sign for UF. My issue with this move? UF has three DL right now BUT one probably ends up at OLB but we have not even talked about DT Kayden McDonald and you know as well as I do you never land everyone you think you are going to land - or will we? Either way things are super exciting right now when you think about Florida recruiting - I think we can ALL agree on that. August 1st, 2022- UPDATE - Just added "The Board is Shrinking," which might make it a tad bit easier to follow as things are getting REAL tight with spots. I do not feel great on Jordan Hall despite the way some feel so decided to remove from the RZ.

I might need to make a slight adjustment to the RZ in the next few days i am double checking on one of the recruits and will see....
July 28th, 2022 - UPDATE - I am expecting to see 4-5 kids announce for UF this weekend - I am adding Dijon Johnson into our RedZone and with soooo much activity I am going to drop Sorey back to the MLL list as someone to keep an eye on but remove from the RZ at this time.
July 26th, 2022 - UPDATE: Canes look like they have outbid every other team in play for Malik Bryant. My pick tomorrow for him will be Miami unless something drastic changes over night which I do not expect to see happen with the way the NIL game has been played so far.
July 19th, 2022 - UPDATE - Quick update - arrived in Austin yesterday, took my wife and oldest son two and a half days to drive out here. I got the better end of that deal. We are out here until Saturday - Sunday 5am head to Hoover to catch the end of our youngest PG tourney - home a week from today. Thank you all for being patient while I am getting all this taken care of. I will arrive at UF around 2pm on Thursday end of next week for FNL. Hope to see you all there - swing by the Hilton if you have time. THE DL in the RedZone are listed in the order I have been told we have the best shot at. The guys with dates planned are all grouped at the bottom of that list it just so happens Walker should be 4th on our list of those DL right now which is nuts to me bc he has visited UF so many times and they feel great. However, another team also feels good with Walker - OSU. Something to keep an eye on and see if more smoke starts up as we inch closer to the announcement date. Will those guys with those end of month announcement dates show up for FNL or the BBQ? SO many of our questions will be answered shortly and I can't wait to see who was right about these dudes.
July 14th, 2022 UPDATE - I have removed Malik Bryant out of the RedZone. Never should have listened to a few and added him to begin with. Some of the things that people felt would help UF are actually working against us. The Miami "Culture" who most say (parents) they don't want kids distracted by the Miami night life is something that is helping the Canes. I know Miami will match whatever UF offered (not my opinion) and the crazy thing is when Miami went to watch Miami practice they were not blown away. They got the No 1 ILB they wanted - Raul Aguirre. Bryant will be a bonus for them if things remain the same. Combination of Charlie Strong/Ray Lewis very appealing for Malik. Saying all of this some of the closest people around this situation say he is torn and this is 50/50. I have decided I will treat Miami like Alabama/Georgia. Florida is going to have to "show" me they can beat Miami for players they truly want. One more note - A player currently committed to another school will not make his way into the RedZone. Sorey is waiting for the Green Light but we have a lot of things going on right now.
July 8th, 2022 - UPDATE: I went ahead and added Sorey to our RZ list. Too much smoke on this deal for me to ignore even though pushing back his previously scheduled announcement earlier in the week is a little concerning. I think he will attend FNL and not sure he waits that long to announce. If he does not attend that weekend clearly I have misread the situation. Wilson should be very soon. Went ahead and added Aidan Mizell in the RZ.
July 7th, 2022 - UDPATE - Marcus Stokes - Now you all see why I was not in a position to give his name out. UF has been working this deal pretty hard for a good bit. They have been working big-time behind the scenes and when things like this are going on there is no way I can say oh yeah that Penn State QB commit is the one they are trying to flip as you see how quickly this went down. There are times when they say do not say a word and I do not say a word to anyone. They have been very impressed with some film of Stokes and feel this is a big big get for them in the QB room.
July 5th, 2022 - UPDATE: Wanted to talk about DL Derrick LeBlanc for a quick moment. I mentioned a while back OU was the tea to keep an eye on - you never worry about the team leading (UF in this case) but the team no one is talking about and that has been OU for the longest time up until a few weeks ago this thing was catching fire. I fear everything I was told back then was true or will end up being true and right now looks like OU. He has been up to see UF double digit times and every single question he or his family could possibly come up with has been answered and then some by the current staff. Florida will keep recruiting him no matter what. DL Jordan Hall from what I understand is good so I will slide him into our RZ and I think right now it is best to move LeBlanc out and see what unfolds. If he picks UF great - if not move on.

July 4th, 2022 - UPDATE - I have moved TJ Searcy from our RedZone to the commit list. TJ makes 9 with the recent departure of OL Tommie Kinsler. Another DL, Keldric Faulk should be making his announcement tomorrow or very soon after. This one is too close for me to call - I think we are down to the wire on him with a coin flip. It could go either way. It feels like Florida, Auburn and Florida State. I like that Toney, Peterson, and Spencer are all recruiting him for the Gators. That three headed monster is going to be tough to beat on the trail - even if this one does not fall our way. Faulk is comfortable with the "Jack" position and maybe that will be enough to win him over....
July 3d, 2022 - UPDATE - Things still appear to be on track for DL TJ Searcy to make his announcement Monday July 4th. I hate even talking about "dates," because they seem to change last minute all the time so we will see what unfolds Monday. Perfect example - WR Daquayvious Sorey was going to announce his intentions to play for the Gators (IMO) - then pushed his decision back and now we have to wait and see what happens with him. He should be considered an ATH and could end up at WR or DB at the next level.
June 30th, 2022 - UPDATE - I decided to remove DL Zavion Hardy out of our RedZone and just need to leave it at that for now. I "could" make the case to do the same with Malik Bryant but he remains for the time being. Also, did decide to bring up JaKeem Jackson. 3:15 PM Also - brought T. Webb back into the RZ.
June 27th, 2022 UPDATE - DL Derrick LeBlanc will make his announcement July 28th now per his Twitter account.
Florida feels great with DL and if they don't get this kid I won't know what to say about the recruiting process moving forward. I would not expect to see Treyaun Webb announce until maybe the first week or shortly after in July. UF is feeling they are right where they need to be with Webb. Both Webb & Baxter to me are concerning and the sooner they can get one of them in the boat the better.
June 23rd, 2022- UPDATE - Tony Mitchell named his top four and the Gators were not in the mix. Tony, as I have stated numerous times is a S at the next level in my opinion - he wants to play CB. He was in the RZ because he told me to put him in the RZ which is a dead giveaway he was not going to be a Gator - but what can you do.

June 19th, 2022 - UPDATE - I have moved Grayson "PUP" Howard into our RedZone which is quickly turning into more of a Mock Class than a heads up on kids pulling the trigger. Again, the key thing to remember right now is this: DL RedZone Members - looking at "each one" yes UF out front BUT as soon as one pops it will impact the others on this list and then it will need to be evaluated again. I might be taking a bit of a chance with Howard, but this trip showed me a lot and do not be surprised to see him back over the next week or so. Should I have waited to see if that trip happens? Maybe, and I know he likes a bunch of other teams including the Gamecocks, but his actions are starting to show me something else. Keep an eye on Troy Bowles to visit Monday by the way.

June 1st, 2022 - UPDATE - I have added ATH Kaveion Keys as a POI and possible OV with UF from what I was told today. Also, I have upgraded Mizel and Wilson back to Orange Status. There are a few things that are a bit confusing right now BUT those two seem to be the two logical recruits at the WR position at this time. As we mentioned yesterday, Jaden Rashada will indeed make the OV to UF. Two days ago we were told June 7th - 9th. Jadens father was going back and forth with Napier at that time and all that was left to do was the UF staff meet regarding the trip and set it up for that period of time. Again, the family is telling Napier UF is in better shape than what people believe. We will see. That would put them at UF arriving Tuesday leaving Thursday. Once again, Red Carpet Treatment

3:15PM UPDATE: Seems to be a lot of flip flopping back and forth with Webb and UF/Texas A&M and Cedric Baxter. One thing seems clear - UF must land one of these guy but no way will they land both. Seems Webb might be leaning with the Aggies and Baxter with the Gators.
May 19th, 2022 - UPDATE - I will post a "Whispers in the Hall" that will explain moves today other than removing both Eugene Wilson & Aidan Mizell who will visit Tennessee very soon. This move is not because I have been told bad intel or bad stuff on either but with two WR's in the boat right now I think we could see UF slow down at this position.

LSU, Northwestern, Oklahoma State, and Houston are the main teams coming at him right now. Florida will take two RB's this cycle and he would be a great one to have imo. May 4th, 2022 - UPDATE - We have 15 players sitting in our RedZone. We know Florida is "NOT" going to land four CB's Gates, Harris, Mitchell, McClain - no fan or coach on earth believes on NSD you show up with those four players in the class. The issue? Right now - I am told they feel great on each of those players. As soon as one of them pops (if its UF) you will see one of the other two drop down on their end with interest imo. I think the best possible scenario would be you hold Gates and add McClain - then one of the other two. Gates needs to take his OV's over the Summer if that is what he wants to do fyi. I added Peter Woods to the official visit list and for some strange reason Creed was not in our RZ so we made that move today with his announcement Saturday at 1:00 PM. Every decision maker possible says they feel great with the younger Whittemore. We have 11 kids with OV dates - Three of them are *** and the other eight are ****
April 29th, 2022 - UPDATE - A couple of Notes on this fine Friday. I posted and pinned so no one would miss it but WR Ricky Pearsall arrives at 3:45PM today with his mother, father, and stepmom. He is VERY fired up about this UF visit. Has been in contact with AR15 and his family will go out to dinner with AR15 this evening - the two will spend a lot of time together. Ricky watched the Spring game and loved what he saw from AR15 - Ricky told me he likes AR's game. Also, the going rate or starting rate I should say from Miami for Portal/Transfer players is 100K, Starting rate and throw in a brand new Caddy just for kicks. Couple guys on the RZ that UF feels GREAT about, but I wonder if one or two of them don't get passed up down the road. Either way the time is now to add the fan favorite CB into our RedZone - Cormani McClain. I have different levels of confidence even within the RZ. If I went with just the ones I felt THE absolute most confidence in we might only have 8 in the RZ vs 13. But those other five they still feel very strongly with at this time....
April 25th, 2022 - UPDATE - I added another POI to our RB list. UF is going to check him out today. His name is Isaiah Augustave from Naples, good size right now around 6-foot-1, 190-pounds.
April 24th, 2022 - UPDATE - I am removing Maryland DL transfer D. Jackson. I think Miami gets it done from what I am being told on our end right now. Florida and the Defensive coaches are working this situation very hard - so we will see if he makes it out of Miami. Touch and go right now.......

April 15th, 2022 - UPDATE - Things just became VERY cloudy at the DE position. After waiting to confirm from a source just now I have moved Kamran James into the RedZone. I have not spoken to him yet so I do not have all three sides of the triangle connected only two but that is good enough for now to move him up. He joins LeBlanc/Hardy in the RedZone at this time. Someone is going to get the squeeze at this position.

He is a RedZone member and will stay that way unless something drastic happens - With NIL deals we can see things change in a blink of an eye no question, but UF feels great with LeBlanc today.

I definitely see the vision of Florida getting back to where they used to be with this new staff, and I feel like I could lead the team. The Gators are high for me. It’s a great school with great coaches that know how to develop players and has the experience to win championships.”
