I know LB was expected to be thin for us this year as well, so is there any chance we're looking at anyone else that I'm not aware of to help with this? Aside from any or all of those big name guys we've been going after for a year now, we could do with a QB, a WR, and a couple LB I would think at this point. Just from a needs perspective. Others may be far more in the know on how this stuff works and what we really need though.

In any event we seem to be getting our numbers up.
I forgot exactly where, but I read CJM felt OK about LB for this year and would address it hard in 2016. I still wonder what the plan is, but the staff does not seem too concerned

After watching how injuries can just decimate a team these past 2 years, and even living through 2007 when we were playing more walkons against Georgia on defense than we had scholarship players on the field, I will never feel OK about these positions. I'm not paid to do it professionally though so I hope we're good to go. Would have been nice to pick up at least another LB if we could manage it though.

Safeties and smaller DE's are switched to LB all the time. That could still happen with some of the guys.

Yea, I'm guessing that might be what they do with McGriff if they get him. He is listed at 6', 230.

Correct. Guys like Keanu Neal and Marcell Harris are candidates to be moved to LBer from what I understand. From what I understand about Collins and his defensive system he has shown in the past he will take bigger safeties and make them LBers.

Also to be honest the way college football offenses have grown into all these spread type offenses rarely do teams line up in base defense's anymore. How many teams line up 3 LBers much these days?

I'll be a little surprised if we don't get Ivey, but I think we're running a decent third behind Auburn and Ole Miss for Cowart.

CeCe seems Auburn to me (im pretty sure i met him at the bar while I was working and when they brought up me being a Florida fan, he acted a bit awkward)
I don't think CeCe has taken a UF visit. Could be wrong.

CeCe was at EVERY UF home game the past 3 years, he didnt have to take an offical.

Up to # 55 now. We may pull a top 25 class after all which would be nice after the horrific start.

Out of the outhouse and straight into the cesspit. I'm telling you folks, there is a ton of money changing hands up there in UcheaT with coach dumpsterfire.

How do people feel about Ivey? I have always felt he was going to Florida, but Chandler Cox recently posted a picture of himself and Ivey both wearing Auburn jerseys on his twitter account with the words lets do this. For people who dont know, Chandler Cox and Ivey were teammates and supposedly best friends in high school. Chandler Cox has already been admitted to Auburn as an early enrollee. His tweet might mean nothing, but I would think he probably knows what Ivey's decision is going to be considering their relationship

I thought Florida was most likely but the late chatter certainly seems to have it 50/50.

Hearing 50/50 but most are using the Cox posts as a sign Ivey is leaning UF and Cox is attempting to flip him. I believe UF wins this one because he wants to play pro-style

It's pretty snake in the grassy to me what Auburn is doing. It's like the moment Muschamp got there, they started going after every recruit who was high on Florida as he had already had "a relationship" with them. Ryan Davis, Cowart, Ivey, Jefferson... All the big names that we've been going after for the whole year are somehow 50/50 with us and Auburn all of a sudden in the past month alone. I thought that Oregon would have been our biggest problem getting Cowart all along as he stated he didn't care about playing for any coaches in particular, what mattered to him was the business school and Oregon has ties to Nike. Out of the blue Auburn is leading for him now and they can't even spell Business School.

cowart has the closet relationship with muschamp. that is the only reason we have a chance with him. we are not getting Jefferson and ivey is doubtful as well. people at espn are amazed florida has a chance at those guys considering your coach has had little time to develop any sort of relationsip and trust with them

OL Nick Buchanan: "Right now, it's basically like mind versus heart. My mind wants me to go to Georgia, but my gut tells me to go to Florida."

Gooooooood. Chris Clark chose UCLA over MU. Harbaugh lays an egg on one of the few prospective guys they were going after on NSD.

We will get Callaway at 9 I think. I have a feeling right after that Cowart goes to Auburn however...

People are saying OL Horton jumped ship to Auburn... Didn't see above...

As a decent human being, I would never ever voluntarily root for Alabama, but after whats been going down in this recruiting cycle between them and us, I think I will honestly have to cheer for the great evil in tuscaloosa over the thieves on the plains this year.

Yea Horton apparently got offered last night. If you've watched closely the last few weeks too it seems like whenever we offered a kid Auburn was right behind...see G.G. Robinson for example. I got no problems with him recruiting the top ranked guys, because that's his job. But when you see them offering lower ranked guys we're offering to try to fill out a class, when their class is almost full, you know what's up. Muschamp is a bitter douche. Which is funny considering Foley let him walk out of here with a golden parachute and then sung his praises for running the program into the ground. Don't think I've hated a coach more, I wish nothing but fail on that d*ck.

I'm more surprised he wasn't a Nole, he's been trolling for the longest. How anybody didn't pick up on this is beyond me.

"I am offering you the opportunity of a lifetime and did I tell you about Florida yet?" Will Muschamp

I don't blame Muschamp for 'stealing' our recruits. There are no Mother Teresas in recruiting. We fired him....now he works for Auburn.
