RBs ? Pierce & Davis-NFL Draft; Johnson & Etienne sign with UF-Nay'Quan ?

Percy was the most explosive player to ever wear the blue and orange.
Ditto and sure did love watching Harvin and Tebow on the field together especially when Percy lined up in the backfield.

40 yard line split and Spurrier just shakes his head

Tebow,

Thanks for posting the highlight clip ! Damn Impressive !

FWIW, Don't know how good his hands are; but I think Lingard has more speed & would make a better "Percy" type WR/RB.

Don't know if Billy will use any 2-back sets, but Lingard combined with a power back - ala Csonka & Kick would work for me !

"...He (Csonka) may be the only running back (in NFL history) to receive a personal foul for unnecessary roughness while running the ball, when, in a game against the Buffalo Bills in 1970, he knocked out Safety John Pitts with a forearm shot that was more like a right cross."

And throw in Mercury Morris and you had a heck of a backfield.

Those 3 in the Fin's backfield, with the best pulling OL-man in the NFL at that time, NFL HoF Larry Little.... He could pull out from the line and beat MM to the edge on a sweep... 😲

Larry Little, unlike many highly touted Miami Dolphins stars of the 1970s, began his career in 1967 as an unheralded free agent with the San Diego Chargers. Larry, who had been a two-way tackle, team captain, and an All-Conference choice at Bethune-Cookman College, enjoyed only moderate success during his two years in San Diego. But he was a key for the Fins offense.

3 NFLPA AFC OL of the year Awards
6 All-Pro Selections
6 Pro Bowls
1970's All Decade Team

Loved watching those guys in action back in the day, when the NFL was still worth watching....

Yes and a defense too. Jake Scott, Dick Anderson, Nick Bouniconti, Bill Stanfill, just to name a few.

A combined response to several others....

Nick, they were the Killer Bee's at one point.
Bob Baumhoper
Doug Betters
Kim Bokamper
Charles Bower
Bob Brudzinski

And the whole team played like Killer B's.
In just 9 games (strike season), they only gave up 131 Pts, had 19 Ints, and 29 Sacks.

RGG, Bear Bryant called Wes the best player in the nation his Sr year, and all of the Gators agreed.

He is the reason I became a Dolphins fan, and I have never stepped foot in Florida at that time. It used to piss me off when Czonka would get it down the field and then they would give it to Kick. I was young and maybe that is not exactly how it happened but in my you mind 39 should have got it every time.
