So I never watch the NFL. I was on Facebook and saw a short from the end of a Vikings - Chiefs game. No idea when the game was, could have been last weekend, maybe 5 years ago. Vikings have the ball around the Chiefs 20, narrator says this is 'the end of the game'. Viking QB drops back to pass, he throws to the end zone, is hit late, flag flies. The pass goes into the end zone, the Chiefs DB grabs the WR, wraps him up and everything, drags him out of bounds as the ball hits the end zone next to him. Another flag flies for pass interference. When the PI flag flies, the Chief DB jumps up and takes his helmet off and starts yelling at the ref. Who throws a third flag for taking his helmet off.
The refs picked up ALL THREE FLAGS, and claimed the ball was TIPPED at the LOS, so no flag, and apparently that negated all three flags. Somehow. Replay then showed the ball wasn't even close to being tipped at LOS. Chiefs win the game.
Do t watch football but was on Facebook? Case closed. If this isn’t non binary I give up.
