There will be some good mRNA uses in the future for health but introducing the spike protein in the body that way was insanity.

A paper published in JAMA nearly a year ago which purports to demonstrate a benefit of the booster actually does no such thing. But those lacking critical thinking skills won't see the issues.

Well, I don't think that's accurate but that's nothing new.
I understand what you're saying, and to me I thought it was valuable to fast track a vaccine for those who wanted to take it. I am a big fan of natural immunity, so I was never going to take the vaccine no matter who trumpeted it and its benefits. I think there were an awful lot of people who felt similarly, so I'm not quite sure what you're getting at here.
It boils down to personal choice and personal responsibility, period. I can still hate the mandates and hysteria, because that is the stuff of sheep ...
Fast freaking a vaccine for vulnerable people versus making promises to the pharma complex about jamming it down everyone’s throats of people that don’t need it are two very different things. If you think trump didn’t make these promises you are on the naive side of the ledger to say the least. The government could give a rats ass about public health. They are all about advancing the ball towards more and more control. Trump moved that ball more than any other American in history.
The public demanded swift action on a vaccine and interestingly, early on, dems were steadfastly against anything that Trump touched including the vax, they only came on board militantly after Biden won and assured them it was safe. Pubs were split on the vax from the get go. Everyone I knew in healthcare was against it, unless elderly and or compromised.
Early on no one realized Fauci was an evil / corrupt mfer. But anyone paying attention knew Bill Gates being onboard meant bad things since he was a huge proponent of UN agenda 21, reducing population / buying all the farmland / making synthetic meat ...
I don’t think the public demanded a vax, after the first month or so it was obvious what was going on, the promises were made by the trump administration not the Biden admin. Trump himself said he thought people should be jabbed. There was too much opportunity for both sides not to take advantage of the hysteria, trump spent trillions to be the hero and get re-elected and the Dems figured it was a great chance to grow the government. None of this is possible of course unless you shut the country down ban travel and create hysteria. They were all complicit.

Precisely what happened on both sides. The right was always hesitant, even after Trump encouraged everyone to get the shot. The left was militantly against the shot while Trump was in office. The mayor of NYC even refused to allow the shots into his city, citing 'health concerns'.
The second that Trump lost*, the left militantly embraced the shots.
I've always found it ironic that the same shot cheerleaders that can't stand Trump, got his shots in their arms. Course in their mind they waited till November 9th 2020 to get them, so Trump doesn't 'get credit' for them LOL What sickos.
I think they can eventually prove the 2020 election was stolen. Will take years, but all signs are pointing in that direction.
Course we still have to keep them from stealing the 2024 election. That will be tough enough.
I was guessing vax by mandate, but yes I would think both were set in motion by the shutdown, hence the just the tip I keep bringing up…. There is still much to come on the financial side of the ledger, which in the end is all that matters.

He did this for two reasons IMO:
1 - Cause he knew that Fauci had said HIMSELF in 2005 that HCQ treated the coronavirus
2 - He knew if there was an available treatment for covid, that the shots lose their EUA status.
Fauci said Trump was wrong, no treatment for covid, full speed ahead with EUA!
