Let's have a little fun with this whole rescheduling fiasco while having an insightful conversation that doesn't include bashing any of the two schools, or LSU AD Joe Alleva, or the SEC. There's already plenty of frustration vented out on some of the other threads, so let's maturely propose potentially realistic paths to rescheduling the Florida-LSU game.
I proposed a compromise Sunday in my 3-2-1 report, but it may be somewhat on the unfavorable side for Florida considering they'd lose two home games from it. Still, the SEC's lost-revenue insurance policy would cover them in such a scenario and other financial details could be sorted out.
However, there's a much simpler one I'm going to propose - but it would take some help and a sacrifice from Arkansas in order to do it.
* LSU moves up its road matchup with Arkansas from Nov. 12 to both teams' bye week on Oct. 29. Arkansas would then get its bye week pushed back two weeks to Nov. 12.
* LSU then moves up its home matchup with South Alabama from Nov. 19 to Nov. 12.
* Florida buys out Presbyterian, and both Florida and LSU square off in Gainesville on Nov. 19. LSU could play Florida in Gainesville without worrying about three road games in 13 days.
Please share your suggested paths, guys.
