With less then a week to go Florida in 26th place in the Rivals team recruiting rankings.

Looking at those teams around and above them,

Unless they suffer decommitments, there are seven teams Florida has virtually no chance of passing: Georgia, Ohio State, Texas, Penn State, Miami, Oklahoma and Auburn.

Because of who they have left on the board and their current star average, there are three more teams Florida is unlikely to pass: Alabama, LSU and Clemson.

That would put Florida's ceiling at #11 for this cycle.

With just two more four-star commits Florida could move up to 17-18 range. If Florida were to sign all five of my Five Most Likely, that would be 698 additional points, to put Florida at 2,376 (which would have been good for #6 last cycle).

That would be good for 6th place right now, but of course other teams will be adding points.

The most likely scenario right now has Florida landing at #11 to #16 this cycle.

The best Florida has done in the Rivals era during a transitional recruiting cycle has been #12 by Will Muschamp.
